The property restoration was completed in 1998, nothing seems to have been updated since then. The bed was heavily used. No black out shades or drapes so the room was way to bright for restful sleeping. The evening dinner was at best marginal. Breakfast was good. The daily rate not really worth it so it is not on my recommended list to visit.

Wow, what a fun unique stay! If passing through you’ve got to stay here. Rooms are huge!!! It was a nice break from being crammed in other small hotels on our roadtrip. Very helpful staff.

This place was nicely renovated. The staff was great and very attentive. Baker City is a very nice small town.

I like the old fashioned charm, but there’s a few things the property can improve without losing the charm. The wall outlets did not hold a plug without falling out. This made it difficult to charge mobile phones. Need an outlet on the bedside table. The toilet was finicky. It ran constantly and easily clogged. The bathroom needs more countertop space for toiletries. I had to put my toiletries on the floor. The room smelled really nice. The stairwell needs some dusting on the steps. The breakfast was fantastic and the service at the front desk and the restaurant was excellent.

My friend and I had a one night stay while on our way home on a road trip. Our stay was short but everything was excellent. The front desk clerk at check in was very friendly and helpful. We had a drink in the bar before dinner in the hotel restaurant; our bartender was also our server and she was great, too. The restaurant prices were very reasonable, and our steaks were so tender! Our room was clean and good sized, loved the high ceilings. There is a very interesting history about the hotel, they did an amazing job on restoring the property. Wish we had more than just a one night stay, I was hoping to get a glimpse of the Lady in Blue! :)

Such an incredible historic building to stay in! The ambiance is so hard to find anywhere, old-fashioned but fancy. Main street right outside the hotel is amazing, with places to eat and experiences to do super close. Most places close at 5pm though, so plan accordingly. The rooms are charming and opulent feeling. The bedding was very clean and fresh, the floors and bathroom extremely clean, and the a/c worked great. Loved it!!

The historic Geiser Grand Hotel was a great choice for our family while traveling from Oregon into Idaho. We could not have been more pleased and truly enjoyed our evening and morning in Baker City, Oregon. Our hotel experience was a pleasure and the staff were wonderful.

Beautiful hotel with great historic touches and features. We really enjoyed our stay!

Grand historic hotel with lots of charm. Beautifully refurbished close to original design. Conveniently located down town near other historic buildings. Food, service and staff were all great.

Weve stayed here several times on road trips. Love the historic building, the large sized rooms, the friendly staff and tasty breakfast. Enjoyed sitting on the mezzanine in the evening and strolling on the main street. The gift shop is a missed opportunity...it used to be better presented. They have some lovely items, but it looks more like a jumble sale than the enticing boutique it could be... We will be back!

The room had only one small window. It didn’t much what we booked with corner room (4 windows room) image. Not having Mountain View, it was just rooftop view of next building. The room was noisy from some building’s air structure and hard to sleep. But the 4 corner poster bed and clean bathroom was nice! The hotel itself was well done with historical renovations. Dining room’s stained glass ceiling is nice.

Very interesting historic hotel with lots of charm and nostalgia.
