This shoddy hotel disappointed from the very start. The entire place was filthy from outside with dirty corridors to inside with an unclean toilet, dirty mirrors, linen rife with short curly hairs. The smoke detector was in the desk drawer. And, there were no towels. Did someone forget to clean the room? Suggestion: have a supervisor check each room before releasing it for the next guest. We arrived one hour after check in time, so there was time to clean. However, debris littered the property. Suggestion: hire more caring staff who can make the property esthetically pleasing. Contacting the front desk, we were thankful that towels arrived after about 30 minutes. But they were stained (more than likely from the worker who delivered them with dirty hands). Suggestion: you need a professional manager involved in all aspects of training your employees. The internet was spotty and the tv could not sustain a channel for one minute. Suggestion: have an instruction sheet specifically addressing the television set up. Replace the batteries on the remotes on a regular basis. Place extenders on the internet hubs throughout the hotel, possibly in every room. Sounds (loud tv, talking, music) between the rooms was very disconcerting. The guy in the next room played booming music until 3 am. Reminder to other guests: be mindful of your neighbors. Signs and walk-through security should be enforced. Summary: I cannot recommend this hotel at all.

Awful location, the lobby area was as hot as outside, the temp that day was 110 so, garbage everywhere, empty pool, homeless people roaming the property, I asked the attendant and he said they have no security available. I didn't even bothered to check in, I left immediately. I know I will get charged for not staying but my safety and that of my family is worth way more. Posted pictures do not match reality. Book at your on peril.

Everything looked worn and used needs remodeling inside and out ….. no telephone in room no fire detectors in room outside the room not clean inside the room decent the a/c was cold that was the bright spot of my stay there …. You get what you pay for and it felt unsafe there the whole time … if the website were honest and post pictures of what the hotel really looks I would have booked somewhere else .

It was ghetto , a sense of unease and the website photos of the place it totally opposite when you arrive the a/c was the one thing that made the stay bearable but when traveling to Bakersfield you get what you pay for would not recommend . The parking lot was filled with people loitering day and night broken down vehicles, no telephone in room no smoke detector in room …. I regret booking there will not return . My own opinion ! Staying in Bakersfield and paying more money for a nicer hotel means I probably would have to deal with racial undertones in a nice clean environment .

Stay away!! Prostitutes and criminals all throughout property. Toilet and bath tub were dirty. No toilet paper. Smelly room. Horrible place!!!
-
Just pass GO! All these reviews are lies! They probably have the residents give them good reviews! Cops patrol frequently. Was told to leave by pd. People walking out and around. Trash and junk everywhere!
-
Pool drained. Door handle electronics hanging out. Bug on bed. Dirty sheets floors and tub. One stop place if you like drugs.

As we pulled in to the hotel, there were people walking around the parking lot openly drinking, it did not have a family friendly atmosphere, I didn’t even feel comfortable parking, it would have been a constant worry about our car being broken into. I didn’t bother checking in, absolutely disappointed this is a Wyndham property. The pictures are misrepresenting this run down hotel. I prepaid for the reservation, don’t make this mistake, don’t stay at this hotel.

It was horrendous trying to sleep. Car alarms were going off repeatedly at 4 in the morning and it was like 3 different alarms so I suspect someone was trying to break in or something. The area was extremely sketchy and weird people walking around the parking lot. I also woke up to a beeping sound of some kind of alarm but not a car alarm, perhaps an alarm in another room so sound proofing was horrible too. Did not get a very good sleep the night I stayed. And the glass was very concerning they may as well have been careless. It looked like a broken lightbulb that wasn't completely cleaned up there was still a pile of bits right next to the nightstand I didnt notice and stepped on. The only positive was the guy at the front desk was very polite.

I checked into this property in the day time with my 11 year old and saw the pool empty, wasn’t the best room but was cheap for a one night stay as part of bigger trip. We went out to shop and eat came back around 9-9:30 and there was all kinds of sketchy activity throughout the complex, packed our room and fled. This place is known for drugs and prostitution, wish I knew before hand. Hope this helps someone in a similar situation to not make the same mistake I did

The air-conditioning worked well and since I’m traveling as a worker, it suited me just fine

Stayed here a quick one night before jumping on a cruise out of Long Beach arrived late around midnight and left really early. The room was fine for what I paid for it was clean. Everything was acceptable and I was happy that I chose this place. The bed was kind of uncomfortable and the sheets were clean, but there were some stains. The area is somewhat sketchy there’s all kinds of trippy people hanging around outside. I don’t know if they’re tenants people who live there or just random tweakers. The staff was great. They got me a parking spot right next to my room like I wanted and it was right next to the office. Nothing happened to my car or us. Everything went smooth. It’s a great hotel to crash out for a quick night sleep.

clean sheets and bathroom. Staff accommodated room on 1st floor. No Amenities, not even coffee even though there was an area with a big sign "Breakfast Bar".

The pool is empty. The toilet broke in our first room.

Exceptional

The hotel parking lot and surrounding lower level rooms had numerous homeless individuals hanging out. The exterior the hotel was extremely dirty. I had to bypass several homeless people to get up the stairs to my room. Elevated noise level throughout the late evening.
-
The room was clean and comfortable. The air conditioning worked really. However, the outside of my room, was trashy.

Pleasant
