Quality Inn & Suites near Downtown Bakersfield

That’s pretty lame. They need to sweep the parking lot as well. Staff didn’t seem very knowledgeable either. NEVER AGAIN

The hotel was better than one would expect just based on the location. It’s on a street with many abandoned businesses. The hotel had everything one would expect from a Quality Inn. Inside and outside was clean and comfortable. It was also nice that my room had a balcony

It was affordable,quiet and clean.

To be fair we checked in after midnight, so maybe it's better... There was so few guests even there and I didn't feel like anyone wanted to help me beyond sharing some written up version of that's expected... There's supposed to be a breakfast but while there was waffle irons, there wasn't any batter, the coffee was gross, and everything else was mid... Maybe because so few guests, but the experience was terrible... We slept there for 5 hours and left and still feel like it was terrible... Way too much money for the amenities... Try something else

Showed up at 3:50pm. Check in time was 4 pm. Wanted to charge me an early check in fee. It over 100F outside, but yes I went back out to my truck. Breakfast was a very sorry experience. Thankfully this was just a stop and not a destination. Will not be staying at this location again. Not located in the best part of town either

Clean rooms and great air conditioning. No elevator so if you cannot climb ask for room downstairs.

Breakfast was not as advertised. Staff was unhelpful. Room was very hot. There was a fire alarm ringing at all hours that apparently no one could fix.

Not one thing is very unsafe; even the station close by advised us not to stay there, for it was known to him that it was an unsafe location We had to cancel our stay because Booking.com did not inform us that the hotel was in a very unsafe area with a high crime rate. The place did not resemble the pictures we had seen. I tried to contact Booking.com to find a new location, but was unable to reach anyone. As a result, we ended up staying at a Motel 6 on California Avenue.
