Quality Inn & Suites near Downtown Bakersfield

I would not recommend this hotel at all especially if you are traveling with children. Not a safe area at all. Oh and I won’t even go into the shady activities I saw while we were there either. Don’t book this hotel.

Stay here! Quiet. Clean. Comfy bed. Soft sheets. The GM is doing an AMAZING job! Best motel around. Clean pool. Great stay!!!!

This Quality Inn that was in Bakersfield,Ca was clean and the staff was friendly. I liked that it had a pool and a continental breakfast there. Overall I give it a 10 out 10.

On the positive, the bed was soft, the pillows very nice, the pool and pool deck clean with towels available and the air conditioning worked very well. But your staff was excellent...I met Alexander who was helpful, informative and obviously a part of this community as I met him Friday night at 5:00pm before the Tejon Powwow at CSU Bakersfield...I later saw him helping to set up the event on Saturday morning at 10 am...I returned to the hotel 12 hours later only to find him working a 12-14 hour shift and still with a smile on his face...I will consider returning next year...just too bad about the homeless and the lack of good eating within walking distance.

Shame, shame, shame on you. One could question...inside job? I mean, doesn't everyone ride around, stop right in front of a lobby with cameras with bolt cutters?

Nice rooms as long as you know area you are in.

Tuesday morning of checking out the hot water was working. Don’t know if you turn your water off at the end of your schedule, but was not pleased.

Staff was very polite and made sure we got a room in the lower level so my mother could be comfortable, rooms where very clean and spacious, breakfast was good as well. The coffee maker in the breakfast area was not working and a couple of guests were disappointed but the staff was working on it promptly and also told us that we could make coffee in our rooms and if more was needed they would happily provide it to us

Good It was ok

Everything overall was good if not great. Just my first room had no hot water so they moved me to another room which did have hot water. They’re currently doing room renovations.

make sure you really want to stay here when you make the resv. i tried to cancel mine within the hour that i made it and i was S O L . guess someone got a comp room for 2 nights ....on me.

It was good for the price and location.

Room was ok. Found a ring of hair in n the sheets and the tub. Air conditioning was very loud. Did not feel safe outside the hotel. Drug addicts laying in the corner of the parking lot in 44° Celsius temperatures. Breakfast was dismal. Waffles or cereal only. Pleasant staff.
