now the room... at about 4:30 the host at the front desk was scrambling around trying to find every guest a clean room. he would leave for 5 or 10 minutes to personally check to see if the room reserved was ready. twice he came back and told other quest that it was not and gave them different rooms. the same thing happened to us, as we were given rm 111. we get to the room and it had never been cleaned! went back and said we need a different room, that this one had sheets pulled down, wet towels on floor...it was a mess. he wanted to see for himself. after that and 15 minutes later he returned with a different room key. room 407 (the third room) was nice, BUT there was a coffee pot and nothing to go with it, led mirror light in bath did not work, could not raise the inner blind because there was a remote missing, water stains on ceiling and an elderly person probably would really struggle or not be able to use the dead bolt on the entry door. hallways needed vacuuming and spot cleaning and the entry rug was nasty! well thats about it...really a shame that such a nice new facility is not being properly maintained or managed! thanks

Hotel and room had a terrible smell, old candy found under the bed, pool wasn’t working. Lady was never at the desk to get extra pillows and blankets from. Beds were comfortable and decent breakfast.

The location was good and the room was nice once we got one that had been cleaned. First room we were given had not been cleaned. Bed was not made and the dirty towels still in the bathroom floor

Flashing light from the smoke detector all night long. Very low water pressure in the shower. Parking lot over full with large work trucks

Didn’t eat breakfast but location of breakfast was convenient. The entrance light to the room and the bathroom only had one light bulb in each. When you showered it did not drain properly. Therefore, as you showered you stood in a large puddle of water. This was reported but never fixed. Reported again as I checked out and the desk clerk stated they would make note but acted like nothing would happen. The bed needed a new mattress as you could tell where everyone slept in the bed. The pillow case had something red on it.

I stay at a lot of Holiday Inn Express locations and this was my worst experience by far. I woke up in the morning with ants all over the desk by the window. We had to spend time shaking out our clothes. When we told the front desk and showed them a video, I was told “I’ll let the exterminators know.” Not an apology or anything. Just very matter of fact as if it’s a constant problem. I’m sure you can find better.

We came last weekend after the Dinner Train ride and walked into a room that had ants crawling on the bed as well as up the wall. I checked the bedspreads and they both had stains on them. We immediately left and requested we go elsewhere for accommodations. The front desk clerk was very rude all throughout the check in process and even more so after we requested to leave. Can not offer reliable reviews on other parts of the survey because we only checked in and then left. So our stay was a no go for us and we won't be back to that property until effective customer service training is applied. Please folks check your rooms upon arriving.

It was a great breakfast. Very good coffee. And very clean. The elevators were a bit slow but I really say that is a complaint.

Location and cleanliness. Breakfast was excellent.

Need better toilet paper. All doors needs lifted up off the floor. All doors drag on floor. You literally have to use all your might to close bathroom and room doors.

When we checked in and were giving our room key, we went to our room and discovered it had not been cleaned and it was the most disgusting mess and smelled horrendous. We went back to the front desk and reported this and the gentleman working the front desk decided to take a phone call instead of speaking with us - he reassigned the room and just toss the key across the counter.. We got to our new room and best we could tell it had been cleaned although there were containers left from somebody’s takeout. I don’t know if it was previous guest or maybe housekeeping. We also found dead bugs in various spaces and there was next to no water pressure.. We reported everything and were simply just told - sorry - with little genuine concern for reported issues. I would definitely not stay there again.

Soap not refilled in bathrooms, shade broken in room, and no bath towels in bathroom.
