California Inn

The breakfast was hot and very good quality. The coffee was good even for a coffee snob like me. There is laundry onsite and they have quarters if needed. I would stay here again if I were traveling thru.

It was good for the price, clean and staff were nice.

halfway carpets were filthy and worn out. hallways reeked of Marijuana. 1 reeked of coffee for two people. poorly maintained exercise equipment. AND, THEY LET TWO PEOPLE INTO MY ROOM AT 5AM. THIS PLACE IS A PIECE OF JUNK, AND I HOPE IT'S ABANDONED THE NEXT TIME I DRIVE BY

Beds were hard and ac was to loud even on low, did not sleep at all!!

The staff really didn't interact with us and while the hotel was safe, the area didn't seem to be. The pool was clean and the rooms were very roomy though.

Clean and well maintained property, reasonably priced and just as advertised. The breakfast is great, hot and yummy!! I have stayed here at least a half dozen times in the last couple of years, it is always clean, quiet, safe and the staff are efficient and friendly. I will be back!

The breakfast was not fancy but just the right amount before continuing our road trip.

The woman at the front desk was so helpful and kind late at night after I had been driving all day. It was super easy to get the room I had booked. Would stay again!

We have been traveling 12 hours. And we got to our room and after about an hour, the AC went out and this was almost midnight. The lady at the front desk got us another room although it was upstairs it was great. The mattresses are so comfortable. The breakfast was amazing. And My Husband was very happy because they had strawberry Nestlé quick. Lol. We definitely would come back to the California Inn if we come through this area again, the only con was the hallways were very outdated and worn out looking but other than that the owner was amazing. The staff was amazing and we definitely give it five stars.

This hotel is not nice at all and is not in a safe neighborhood. We were driving a trailer and did not feel comfortable parking it there. We actually didn't want to sleep there either, so we left and checked in at another hotel on the other side of town. I paid $196.00 + a $33 pet fee for two rooms that I did not even use. I asked the management to give me a partial refund, which they said they would give me, but then I never got a credit on my charge card. I wasn't even asking for a full refund. I would NOT recommend staying at this place. It's not in good shape and is in a sketchy neighborhood. And they do not do what they say they are going to do.

The pool is sparkling and refreshing, especially for this desert town. We have been coming here for a number of years and we see recent improvements. Great value

Very convenient property to stay at. They had some mild construction going on by the office but didn't interrupt our stay.

Room was clean and larger than I expected . Staff was very pleasant and accommodating in the needs of my wife. She liked the breakfast very much . Amenities were clean and well taken care of . It was a pleasure staying there

Consistently clean, perfectly serviceable rooms, friendly staff and great value for money.

Granted, this is an older hotel but for the price it was a very pleasant surprise. The public areas are clean, our room was comfortable, there are Tesla chargers nearby, and it’s right across the street from a wonderful Italian restaurant
