Quality Inn Barstow Route 66

Very adequate hotel; we stayed 2 nights. Breakfasts are in the hotel restaurant and are large and delicious. Staff was helpful and very accommodating. One of the fluorescent lights in our room flickered, so a little maintenance was needed. People were vaping and smoking marijuana in the courtyard, so that was a little annoying

My only complaint is the desk chair has a screw missing under the seat making it wobbly.

The front desk clerk was very helpful and super nice. The facility grounds were in bad shape. We were on the backside of the hotel, which was very sketchy. Several people roaming around the parking lot, trash was overflowing around the trash cans and all over the ground. Lots of commotion in the back parking lot at all hours of the night. I wouldn’t recommend for solo travelers or request a room in the courtyard closer to the reception area.

Old and tired but clean. The included breakfast was at an actual restaurant and not the typical breakfast buffet.

On site there’s a bar and restaurant. Breakfast included was very good indeed 👏👏👏

This hotel is conveniently located near the 15 and very nicely priced. The rooms are clean with hard floors and nice soft beds and bedding. Bathroom was clean and TV was good size. The room comes with a mini fridge and microwave which comes in handy for leftovers from the on-site restaurant, Los Domingos. A made to order breakfast is included in room price and is a big reason why we stay here. The Bloody Marys are great and the Mexican fare is amazing. There’s Free parking. A central gathering area also has BBQs and tables to enjoy a cold beverage or a glass of wine. Staff is friendly and accommodating in both the hotel and the restaurant.

Room looked clean but floor was filthy. Bare feet turned black. King bed had 4 tiny pillows instead of king pillows had requested extra pillows on my Reservation, but did not get them. Toilet paper was probably the cheapest you could get it was like sandpaper.

Fantastic front desk staff, great location. Dog friendly and property very clean and maintained.

Rooms are clean. Bathwater is hot. Beds are great. Firm enough for me, and soft enough for my companion. It's well maintained and has been updated since its first construction. It has a pleasing courtyard, and a large, clean, functional outdoor pool. The pool is operational, and many guests used the pool while we were there. Air conditioner was quiet. I had to turn it up to create some background noise. It had the room down to refrigerator temperature despite the 100+ degrees outside. Breakfast is provided by Los Domingos, the on-site Mexican Restaurant from a breakfast menu. Really impressive for the weary traveler. See my review of Los Domingos. Safety appears to be good. It is a concern. Barstow suffers from the usual Cali malfunctions, and we concerned everywhere we went. But we saw no unusual or dangerous characters on-site. Plenty of parking. Highly recommended: We stay here on our annual trip to Cali.

Everything was done well. Our room did not have a drain in the sink (open drain that items can fall through). I also don't like a hotel w/rooms that have the door directly to the outside, which unfortunately this hotel had. I love have a restaurant within or near the hotel, which this hotel had.

WE HAD AN ISSUE WITH THE CURTAIN ROD IN THE ROOM AND IMMEDIATELY, HOTEL STAFF CAME TO LOOK AT THE ISSUE. THEY WERE UNABLE TO REPAIR AND MOVED US RIGHT AWAY TO ANOTHER ROOM. THE STAFF IS VERY PROFESSIONAL AND HELPFUL.

Good for the room price, Good stay.

The breakfast was great. The meals were made to order, which meant feeding 4 children with different tastes so much easier.

I have a broken ankle. They were very helpful finding me a room that made everything easier to move around.
