The room was clean and the staff members were very friendly and helpful. There was plenty of parking and I felt safe staying there.
-
Breakfast is awesome! The serves was very accommodating.

A great hotel for a stopover in Barstow on a trip along Route 66 and conveniently located for to visit the Calico Mining Ghost Town and the Harvey House with its Space Exposition plus the Barstow Route 66 museum. Impeccable room and enjoyed the included ala carte style breakfast.
-
Room was cool and reasonably clean. Property needs some serious upgrades. Pool needed cleaning. No towels and nowhere to get them once at the pool, but there were extra towels in the room. What drove me crazy is the routine to get coffee and breakfast in the AM. Front desk has the cups, and there's a coffee machine around the corner. I couldn't get it at the restaurant or bar. Then we were told we had to go back to the front desk from the restaurant to get a poker chip to get our breakfast. Lots of jumping through hoops for simple things.
-
Clean room with good amenities inside. Very conveniently located from the freeway.
-
Insects were present in the room, and there were no commercial gestures. Breakfast is good, but there is a long time to wait.
-
Neighborhood did not feel safe there were couple of drugged persons walking around the property. Also around 2:30 there were loud noises that affected our sleep and overall safe feeling.
-
The breakfast is a good diner-style menu in their own restaurant. Our room was kind of old, needed updating. Nice outdoor pool.
-
The Mexican restaurant was the highlight of the visit. It was nice to have a hot made to order complimentary breakfast. The bed was comfy but the lighting in the bathroom and vanity was terrible.
-
Great comfort after a long day's drive. The really good Mexican restaurant on site made for our nice re-entry into the southwest after two months of traveling. Best place in town, all around.

It’s just a typical desert hotel
-
Very convenient location. Nice restaurant. Air-conditioning.

It was very hot (105) on the day we arrived. The room did have efficient air conditioning. The room was not as clean as I would have liked and smelled heavily from air freshener or some type of cleaner. There is a restaurant on site that is very good, and the free breakfast that comes with the room is cooked to order and very good. The rooms that face the courtyard have a nice view with a lawn, pool, and fountain, but our room faced the parking lot, which was not very nice and there was noise from cars coming and going.
-
Clean, comfortable room and pleasant staff. Nice restaurant on site and the hotel provides a nice cooked to order breakfast!

Everything was perfect

The room and property was average but nice. My kids and I jumped at every sound all throughout the night because of the homeless and drug addicts, walking, yelling and begging right outside our door and someone stole our breakfast tokens. Welcome to Barstow, the armpit of America. I have to admit though that every time I’ve stayed in or around this area hasn’t been any better.

The rooms were not as clean as I would have expected. Paint was peeling from the walls and ceiling and we had a problem with spiders and insects in the room. A large very visible spider web was seen in the corner of the ceiling - it could not have been missed.
-
AC was great! Bathroom is a bit dated, but room was very clean other than dated bathroom. Breakfast was included and was cooked to order off menu in their restaurant. Internet connection was very good. We travel with a small dog and it was a reasonable charge for the dog and a good area for him to do his stuff. We will stay here again when passing through Barstow.

This is my second review in one month regarding no bathtub plug in the room. After a very long day driving through the heat of the Mohave desert, I really looked forward to a long hot bath. For the THIRD time that I have stayed in this motel, there was no bathtub plug. This time I knew to check right away and went up to the front desk to request a plug. She looked puzzled, but came back with a plug that she said "might" work. Or she could transfer me to an upstairs room. Or she suggested that I just used a washcloth to stuff in the plug. I don't understand why this is such an issue for this hotel. Otherwise, I love the location, the restaurant on the premises, the free breakfast, and the comfort of the rooms.
