After calling the hotel for two days, and finally getting someone on the phone, I tried to cancel my reservation because of an emergency. I called within the time frame to cancel. The hotel told me I had to cancel through Expedia, and Expedia said they had to contact the hotel. Later got an email from Expedia saying that the hotel wouldn’t give me a refund. I would never book with Expedia again, and never stay at Wood Spring Suites. They do not honor what they tell you. Do not book with either of them.

We didn’t even end up staying the night. Horrible, awful smelly rooms and elevators. Dirty carpet, missing shelves/drawers in kitchen area and nightstands, holes and stains in the bedding. The property is definitely not maintained nor secure, the back doors that should need your room key to open were just unlocked. Very young kids, running around loudly with no supervision. Don’t book here. Oh and the pictures on the site look considerably better than what you get.

The whole building smells like a mixture of weed cigarettes and straight up funk. I booked a double bedroom, and one of the bed had stains on it, and literally every surface was sticky. The bathroom was gross, and the bathtub was dirty and not clean at all. I found trash in the first drawer that i opened and even though i booked a non smoking room there was clearly evidence of smoking and the smell I described earlier was still very much present in the room. I ended up leaving and sleeping somewhere else. DO NOT STAY HERE.

The rooms always smell of mildew!!!! It gets in your clothes

The location was convenient, the room was clean and spacious, and the staff was friendly, welcoming, and very helpful. The grounds were well kept, and there was easy access to everything we needed. The property was quiet with very little noise, making for a peaceful and relaxing stay. The atmosphere was comfortable and inviting. Overall, we had a pleasant experience and would be happy to stay here again. Most importantly, there were absolutely no roaches or pests of any kind during our stay. I liked everything about the property. It’s new, and at the time of my stay, it had only been open for about a month. It’s a great place, and I hope it continues to be well maintained and doesn’t become dirty or rundown like some of its sister properties.

Fights between adults and children broke lots of loud people

We came in just for a night we got there and couldn’t get a key to the room due to the key making machine not working we got to the room finally and tried to take a shower but realized all the water was coming out of the tub onto the floor where my elderly mother almost fell. So we decided not to stay and left. Also it smelled terrible in the whole hotel.
