The rooms smelled like mold. My sisters room had hanging air fresheners stuck in the grates of her a/c, corn chips on the bathroom floor, and pubes in the shower!
-
I only stayed one night. The air conditioner was very loud and the room smelled like cigarettes. The bathroom was poorly painted and the furniture was old.
-
It is very very cheap for a reason. You get what you pay for. Seems shady but that is just the general neighborhood feeling
-
Everything was good until we seen roaches crawling up the wall and on the floor!
-
cable un plugged , tv not working had to call 3 times for help. refrigerator freezer not working and dirty
-
Great place to stay convenient location great staff
-
First, I paid for a nonsmoking room and was given one that smelt like an ashtray. Then I was given a second one that was dirty, to include hairs on the shower wall.

They don’t clean properly. Had dead fly on the tube. Watch the lady so call clean the bathroom she did not clean the toilet she clean part of tube not entire tub. We slept on top the comforter. It was the worst experience never again.

The hotel has seen better days, but is not awful. It is good place to spend a few days in the area. Solid three to four stars IF you stay on the ground floor. Ask for Ms. Tasha at the front desk, as she is absolutely EXCELLENT at her job! Tasha is professional and extremely helpful. She also knows the Rocky Mount area, so she can recommend great places to eat. The Waffle House right next door is good! Make sure Jahvon is on the grill. That fella can make a great steak omelet!

We booked a room online and when we got there late at night, the night clerk told us there were no rooms and was not helpful at all

If you are looking for a cheap place to just sleep in the area, this place would be fine. There were a lot of construction workers there the night we stayed. So when someone came through with loud speakers about midnight, the construction guys came out fussing and cussing because it woke them up. There was a big hole in the bathroom door and everything needs to be update for sure. Bed was clean and comfortable and that's all we needed.

They should have better clean rooms, need to call pest control, the ice machine doesn't work. TV didn't work properly.
-
Wow - what a wild ride this was - first room tv didn't work and inhouse phone was broken - second room everything was fine until we tried to take showers and realized that there was no way to regulate the water temp. The place was clean, the beds were really comfortable and the staff was fantastic to deal with - but it sure could use some upgrading.

I left at 3am to beat traffic in Washington DC. It was exceptionally convenient that the staff directed me to the machine to fill my travel carafe the night before. Clean, comfortable. Fridge was available and turned on in order to recharge cooler ice packs and store food. I put a chair to block the direct airflow from the air conditioning unit. Best snowbird stay yet (Florida to New England).

No secure wifi, fridge wasn’t plugged in, no breakfast. Supposed to be non smoking but our room #232 smelled like very heavy cigar smoke! Last time!

The 1st room

PLEASE do not book this motel. There was a roach in the room, the bed and carpet smelled like urine. The mattresses had urine stains on it and there was no working detector in the room. We had to spray it air freshener and get fabric refresher sheets to place on the floor and under the sheets. There was no iron or ironing board in the room. The front desk had to look for everything that we asked for. When we complained about the smell, they never suggested to change our room twice when we complained and when they did ask by the manager we were leaving the next day. So the manager is supposed to comp me 20% off on my bill. We were scared to switch to another room because we didn’t want to have a repeat. The room also smelled like cigarettes and there were burn marks on the sheets, pillowcases, and covers. The floor mat for the bathroom to step on after your bath was dirty.
