Super 8 by Wyndham Battleboro/Rocky Mount

Honestly, that hotel looks abandoned. The reception area is empty, the atmosphere feels heavy, and it is pitch black inside. The parking lot was nearly empty, and there were numerous cigarette and marijuana butts at the entrance. Honestly, I trust the app, but I do recommend doing a better job of verifying the current status of these establishments; many of them look nothing like their photos. The upside was that I requested a refund, and the support team handled it with great care and professionalism. 🙏

We have sent photos of this abandoned Super 8 and waiting on a refund reply being we never checked in or stayed there. We have sent photos and now has been a week with no resolution!!

The place looked abandoned. There was a weird hand made sign saying cash only. The sign was all busted, the sidewalk was covered in trash, and there were no lights. It was very unsafe! I ended up driving another 2.5 hours in the middle of the night because I had no place to stay.

Nobody was there!!! I had to book a different hotel room

AVOID. Res'd 2nts. Arrive Sat 7pm, office empty/locked, no lights. Banged on door, call mx times (heard phone ringing inside). Left, return 1hr later, same. Hallway door broken, so I look inside. Might be a crack den? Bullet dodged.?Got refund, but PIA.

Because they're making me have to hunt my refund down myself, and of course Super 8 isn't ever answering the phone. I'm a busy man, and I don't have time for the BS. So I'm shit out of $70. The location doesn't have a room worth $70. I was with someone and didn't want to leave because I was having a good time. Whom I had call to get a refund. He assured me my money would be reimbursed within 2 days ( by Wyndham) of course it never happened. Avoid the super 8 in (Goldrock) Battleboro, NC. There's a few options in the area. Do urself a favor NEVER choose Super 8.

When staff did finally came to assist staff was very nice and respectful. Was willing to work through any issues or problems. Even though things wasn’t resolved right away or resolved at all mostly staff was respectful. Had a slide in door so u could go either way & sit outside. Was local to fast food & local stores including gas stores. When I went to book the room I had a very hard time trying to book the room wasn’t any staff at the room it was like 2 hours before I could get through to anybody. Room didn’t get cleaned housekeeping ain’t come no days. Room needed maintenance, bathroom needed maintenance. Tv didn’t work shower wasn’t cleaned had to buy cleaning supplies to clean it myself. Wasn’t enough wash clothes nor towels.
