Bedford Plaza Hotel - Boston

Room was not a hotel room quality... its a motel. Cheap linen,curtins did not keep light out , cars/trucks kept walking us up, air conditioner was behind curtin. Bathroom was ewww, bath had mold,toilette seat did not stay up had to hold to pee.. towels were clean but rough on skin. Had a iron mark on the carpet. Did not even think of going to eat the free breakfest... first night we got there we ask if there was any fee if we decided not to stay our full stay(3 nights) they said no refunds.

Pretty old and worn but the room was clean.

Thought it was one time occurrence or just locally or regionally based, but have stayed at additional properties in Boston and surrounding areas and have not had same experience. Bedford overall is a quiet, nice town and nice escape from the city. People in local stores and community seem pretty professional and friendly as well. Hotel is also pretty dated and could use some upgrades and deep cleaning of floors/carpets. Although quiet, feels isolated, but there are stores nearby with pretty easy commute to Boston. If run/walk/exercise, there are plenty of safe and accessible sidewalks/neighborhoods to utilize which is not always the case in some of the cities outside Boston.

Price-wise, it was a good option. The location is very convenient too, since it’s very close to a mall with lots of stores and restaurants. The one thing I would suggest is replacing the carpets in the rooms, but overall, it was a good experience.

She wants to charge me for the side park on the street! The other people work here they’re very nice the housekeeper lady she’s a sweetheart. She always help. I recommended this hotel. If she’s not here a lot of people complain about her. I think the owner should change the manager.

This was probably a really nice place 40 years ago. The staff was super nice and helpful. The room cleanliness was questionable (surfaces were wiped, carpet looked clean, linens were stained and had an interesting smell, bathroom had mold, curtains were stained). It came with soap, air conditioning/heating, the windows open, there was a hair dryer, an iron and ironing board, a microwave, a minifridge, coffee and water, and a tv with a handful of channels. It was a very peaceful and quiet hotel with lots of indoor parking for 10$ per night or outdoor parking for free. The continental breakfast had waffles, toast, coffee, tea, and cereal with milk. There was also a pool that needs some maintenance but it was heated and the area around the pool was very clean. Again, the lobby staff were always very courteous and helpful.

If you're looking for a reasonably priced and clean hotel with friendly staff and breakfast, this place is perfect. It's not overly fancy but the bedding was clean and there were no pests. The carpet was pretty stained, which looks offputting at first glance, but on closer inspection it was definitely thoroughly cleaned after whatever the guest spilled. Only so much you can do, I suppose. Will probably stay here again next time we're in town. The desk staff were all really friendly and efficient, no issues with any of the stay.

Overall was bad experience. Not worth for money I paid.

The lack of room maintenance is unacceptable. Upon arrival, I found hair scattered all over the bathtub, a filthy shower curtain, and window drapes that look like they haven't been washed or changed in months. Management urgently needs to address the housekeeping staff, as no amount of charm can make up for a dirty room.

There was a used diaper under the desk. The only cameras they have in their street parking is pointing directly at the dumpster. I parked my car in their parking lot over night and was the victim of a hit and run on my parked car. Don't park their, or you might not have a working car when you wake up.

Very disappointing stay. The room was dirty, the hotel was poorly maintained, and the staff were unhelpful. Definitely not worth the price. I would not stay here again or recommend it.

Location was truly bad, the exterior it’s just not in good cobditiobs, not well kept and certainly does not reflect the photos
