Four Points by Sheraton Bellingham Hotel & Conference Center

Just a well rounded hotel. No complaints.

I stay here often and typically have good experiences. The past trip though was substandard with a musty smell in the bathroom (time to swap out the shower curtain), poor to unusable internet, and after I checked out they billed restaurant charges to my card for the person in the room after me. I found it strange that they could bill to my card for room charges after I checked out. A call nearly remedied the situation. I say ‘nearly’ since they did credit my account but a typo in the credit left me in the red still. So, I will treat all of this as a one-time poor experience but will hopefully see a return to the better experiences I had previously.

We were concerned about parking in the way back parking lot, but had absolutely no problems. We would consider coming to Four Points again.

Incredible staff

The hotel has ample parking and is close to downtown. The price was excessive for the quality of service you received from the hotel. The maids either never showed up or didn’t change the linens when cleaning the room.

There were difficulties with our check-in because of computer problems, and our rooms were switched with our traveling companions. This was truly not a problem for us, but was a little bit disconcerting.

It was on the way we drove to Vancouver. Free parking is a plus. Staffs are friendly and helpful. The hotel feels old, and the toilet smells a bit.

Staff was very nice and prompt, reasonable location Elevator broken, sink fixture in room was loose. Heavy chlorine smell on third floor above pool- maintenance needs training on pool and soak tub care. Owner needs to spend some money on maintenance

The property was convenient, clean and easily accessible. We enjoyed the indoor pool with our grandchildren. Thanks very much!

The bed was wonderful Housekeeping was poor. Bed was made very sloppy without fully fresh linens. No glasses. Only decaf coffee. Just poor attention to the room. Noisy Jo

This is an OK property that is showing its age, but I would definitely go back. I was disappointed the pool was down since that was one of the reasons I chose this place. The front desk Steve was very helpful. They offered a complementary breakfast, which was just OK. It arrived very cold. Parking was easy and location was great. The air conditioner in my room, sang a song of its people. And kept me awake lol

The lobby is beautiful, and I loved playing the piano that was there. It’s in good shape. We were there for 3 nights and never got the room cleaned despite them saying they would. Rooms 131 and 132 smell of chlorine because the pool is right there.

The staff are friendly and helpful! Food is delicious, with very good service, overall our go to place stay, while visiting family in the area! We will be coming back! The location is ideal, close by for enjoying outdoor activities!

Overall an excellent property. Note that the flooring in the pool area was very slick and the hot tub tile was missing grout in several large areas.

Parking was great and room was clean and spacious.

Pool area in central courtyard REALLY needs work. Cement floor is very visibly worn, plants are sparse and a little anemic, pool itself needs updating, all of which results in a large focal point space that is uninviting. Then there is the powerful odor of chlorine that wafts into your nose the minute you enter the area, yuk! Decor in the restaurant needs updating, ugly color scheme, harsh lighting, needs to be softened.

Beds were comfortable, staff was very professional, place was clean, location was pretty central. Facility was nice in lobby but rooms were a bit dated. Rooms were a bit noisy.

Perhaps most annoying is this piece: Upon checking in, the front desk advised that I be signed up for the Marriot Bonvoy Frequent Stay points service. I said "OK" and I now regret doing so. Both my wife's phone and my phone have been barraged by phone calls for incentive programs and the like. MOST ANNOYING! I'm going to cancel out of it. Marriot has fine hotels, but I don't need them to be in-my-face about it.
