Sehome Garden Inn

Amazing stay!!! We will be back. I cannot say enough about the hospitality, comfort, quiet, and general welcomeness of this inn. 100% recommend.

We love staying at true, hosted B&Bs. The kind where the host greets you, offers advice on the area, and provides a real breakfast. This is that, but even better. The hosts greet you like friends, they seem genuinely interested in your plans for the day, and breakfast is local, farm-to-table, and homemade goodness. The garden and property is a beautiful array of planting areas. I found myself drawn in and kept finding new little nooks or areas to explore. It is a restful area to just sit and enjoy from the deck, and their care of the land was visible everywhere. The icing on the cake is that they are dog-friendly. We brought our 1yr old pup, full of energy, and he loved roaming the large property and playing with the hosts' dogs. It was incredible, and we'll most defintely be back!

The grounds were open and welcoming and the lodging was comfortable, clean and had an intriguing Japanese/modern decor. The bathroom was thoughtfully stocked & there was an assortment of teas available. The hosts were amazing and breakfast was delicious, including home made jams & gluten free muffins & individual frittatas served in our room. A short walk up to the arboretum from this scenic and nature focused neighborhood made it an awesome stay!

We plan to stay at Sehome Garden Inn when we go to Bellingham again and have recommended it to our friends.

Everything about the Sehome Garden Inn was delightful: the beautiful and very comfortable accomodation, the hosts, and the yummy breakfast. We would love to return!

The place is tucked away, so quiet and peaceful. Also very close to the downtown area for dinner and easy access to hiking. The grounds are gorgeous and the rooms are very cute, clean and comfy. The hosts are so lovely and the breakfast is delicious! Really enjoyed our time here and would definitely book again!

Our Sehome Garden Inn stay was beautiful! Pretty suite with a mid-century, Japanese feel. The gardens on the property were a hidden gem and pretty to walk through with lots of interesting plants. We loved hearing about the history of the property from our hosts Joseph and Walter. Miss Pearl, one of their two labs, was an absolute treat. She loved pets and was such a nice addition to our mornings. The only thing we didn’t like was that because this is our hosts’ home, one door separated our living space from theirs. We could easily hear them in their kitchen, making us feel like we needed to whisper and keep noise down. I do have mobility issues so I do want to note that the couch is really low and hard to get up from if you have accessibility limitations. The bedroom is small and it was hard to squeeze by the end of the bed. The bathroom, however; is fully accessible. None of these things would keep me from gladly staying here again.

The location grounds are magical, bursting with nature and welcoming. We loved our breakfast! Warm, homemade, delicious served overlooking the garden by really nice hosts. Such a great Mother’s Day

Our room, and the rest of the house, was tastefully decorated and immaculate. Rooms and bathrooms appeared to be newly remodeled. We highly recommend and look forward to our return. Thank you

Super unique, beautiful, and serene!! Nothing, was one of the best 1 night hotel experiences, I highly recommend as a bed and breakfast and I would stay again

The room was clean but did not have the serene atmosphere I expected based on the photos of the house on the link (maybe I didn't look closely enough). Breakfast was good (coffee made when requested, homemade biscuits/jams/jellies), although the same breakfast was served every day, no substitutions accepted (e.g. scrambled eggs instead of fritatta,toast instead of biscuits).

Friendly hosts, excellent breakfast, very clean and comfortable accommodations. Good location, just a short drive to restaurants, Mount Baker Theater, etc. And the canine hosts were wonderful! No negatives for our one night stay

Best breakfast ever No coffee before 8?

This is such a great find. The owners are lovely, breakfast is tasty and my room was really comfortable. Had a few issues with ants in the bathroom, but nothing major.
