Motel 6 Bellingham, WA

Everything was good and staff was friendly.

Not a great stay, thinking there are some people who live there was there was a lot going on all evening…. Random doors slamming in the middle of the night. Not a super quiet space.

Tldr: filthy & rude. The bathroom was filthy when I checked in. Losts of hair around (see photos). And there is a hole in bedding sheet. The staff refused to address the higenity issue and was super rude and arrogant. "What do you want?.. I can't do anything about it.. all other rooms are booked.. It is what you get from a motel.." then for a sec, he mentioned he had a room available but without fridge or microwave, but when I requested it for room exchange, he refused because he feared being unable to resell my room since it's dirty. Yeah like I am the only one who have to suck it up. This is beyond extravagant and I was severely mistreated. I checked in July 4th 2026. Whoever was there that eve in the office, I feel sad for you.

Positive Experience

New owners were nice and helpful. Room was clean; location has easy access to the highway making it a good stop before crossing the border.

Very basic room, but comfortable bed and pillows and clean bathroom. Neil the owner was very helpful and accommodating.

They have good service,I recommend to stay, the are very friendly and dedicated to maintaining everything right

Just needing a room to crash breaking up a long drive. I booked at this motel six which was surprisingly a much better experience than I could ever wish for beds. Work were comfortable room was extremely clean with laminate wood floors bathroom shower worked great truly one of the best travel values I’ve had highly recommend.

If you book on Expedia using reserve now pay later be sure you have the right card info they will charge a deposit and if it doesn't process they will cancel the reservation but they did provide a room for us , overall it was a decent stay they do a towel exchange for clean towels due to customer throwing them away, this is close to a lot of restaurants and the freeway the experience was decent I would stay again

The motel was very clean and comfortable. The staff were very kind and friendly. The price was great, and the quality was excellent. There were many restaurants and coffee shops within walking distance. The area felt very safe. We were very happy with our stay and would definitely stay here again.

Night manager very welcoming, polite, and professional. His manager is Lilly, a beautiful blue-eyed pup, also very welcoming and apparently, very strict! 😂. I had one dog with me and this is the very reason I go to Motel 6… They are so accepting of pets!! They had no additional charges for her AND, despite how full they were, let me extend 30 minutes.

Not much to say about or expect from a Motel 6, so I get it. It's definitely a type of place that would get the job done for a quick weekend stay. The cleanliness of the room was average, but the bed was really soft and comfortable. The thing we didn't like at all was the outside street noise we easily heard -- it didn't matter if the TV was on or if the window was still closed. What made up for the experience was the excellent customer service at the front desk, specifically the guy who's from LA. Forgot his name, but we clicked! Cool guy.

Exceptional and caring staff. They were patient and helpful. Great pool and great prices!

Super friendly staff/owner. The room was basic but that's to be expected from a Motel. 5 stars for a super clean and spacious room. The only issue was the vehicle noise level from the parking lot and the highway so bring ear plugs if that bothers you. Also, bring your own shampoo and conditioner.

Well, the saying that "you get what you pay for" was definitely applicable here. The television was very slow to respond. I had to play around with the air conditioner in order to get it to work. When it did work, it was great. The shower was marred in the bathroom so it looked like it hadn't been cleaned, but I think it had. The shower curtain looked dirty. It was very basic. Close to a McDonald's, but that's about all I saw. The location was convenient for what I was doing. My reservation was only 1 night. The checkout person did ask how my stay was and when I answered, "okay", he did tell me to review and that they they had changed ownership and were in the process of making things better. He was very nice. 3 out of 10 for this place.

Beds were very comfortable but the room was outdated and the shower floor was dirty. The AC worked whenever it felt like, luckily the weather was not that hot. Right next to the highway so it was very noisy at night you could hear the traffic passing by. The staff was very friendly. Ok if you are passing by and need an affordable place to rest.
