Dingy towels stain linen smelly hotel dirty walls

The Bad: We stayed there for three nights and the first floor smelled of marijuana every day. We stayed on the second floor and when we walked down the stairs, because there is no elevator, the smell of pot would hit you every time. If you have accessibility issues I hope they give you a first floor room becausethe stairs are steep and there is no elevator. I can live with an outdated room, but there was dirt and dust in many places which included the ceiling. It seems like employees live there? If you want the free breakfast, get down there early. We went down at 8am, breakfast 6-9am, and there were no eggs, no waffles, no milk, etc. However, when we were eating our breakfast, there was an employee who had two triple decker sandwiches of eggs and sausages. That solved the mystery why there were no eggs and only three sausages left. For the price, the hotel is not worth it. It should be half the price. I have stayed at some other hotels in the area, and I thought I would give this one a chance. Never again.

Very quiet for being right on the highway

Room was not cleaned after previous guests checked out. Neither bed had been made up, there were towels on the floor in the bathroom, and waste baskets were full. Night manager was responsive. She asked me to wait in the lobby while they changed linens on one of the beds and provided fresh towels. It took about 15 minutes. Remainder of the stay was uneventful. This is my least favorite motel in Beloit. I only stayed here because all of the others had no vacancies.

Nice location Had to wait two hours for our room to get ready.

That we didnt end up getting a room
-
The room had a bad odor, the breakfast was extremely poor with not much of a selection. Vending had no sugar free option except water. Rooms were so dated that instead of usb charging ports there was a high speed internet wire connection. No password necessary for the wifi made me wonder at the safety of connecting so I didn’t.

No complaints. Everything was as described. No issues.

Staff, particularly Miss Wanda, was more than pleasant and engaging. Very courteous and her (customer) service would be the saving grace of the entire experience. The room was decent at first glance. Yet, after settling in later in the evening there were details that spoke to some questions of long-term maintenance. The bathroom (tub) was pretty clean. Yet, when actually paying attention to the shower head, it was full of lime scale. That was very off-putting and since it was an overnight stay, I decided not to wash up until my next destination. One other thing that I took notice of was the chair foot stool combination was very dingy, if not dirty. So that was not used in too much capacity for what it was intended. Otherwise, the bed and bedding was comfortable and the TV and other amenities were operable and useful (refrigerator/microwave/air conditioning) Breakfast was solid. Standard selection. Waffle, eggs, juice, coffee, cereal, muffins, bread, and bagels. Overall, a decent stay for a one night layover. If I came back, it would just simply be for the pleasantry of Miss Wanda.

I am slightly handicapped and I was put in a room on the 2nd floor. The nice lady working Friday nite helped me get my luggage up there, which I was very thankful.

Location Room dirty, no kleenex, lots of broken
-
First room assigned was 1st floor and it smelled like mildew. Second room assigned was upstairs and the facet in the bathroom was broken, hair dryer and beds are firm. Unfortunately this will be my last time staying at this hotel. They need to invest some money into repairs.

Nice people at the desk, down the street from a cute town and college campus that was nice to walk around after a long day of driving, comfy beds, waffles at breakfast. Slight odd smell to the room, slow draining shower, but nothing major - overall fine for the price point
