The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The hotel is located in the downtown area so you can park there and walk to shops and restaurants.

Perfect location, comfortable rooms, and friendly staff.

Great location
-
Such a great location. Easy walk to coffee, shops, and restaurants.
-
Clean hotel with helpful staff. Restaurant menu could use a reboot, not sure they have capacity to make common grilled items such as burgers. Chose the hotel for location and pool and they delivered.
-
Hotel has a great location in downtown, facility is well kept and the staff is excellent.

I was disappointed to have to pay for breakfast at this price point. View was non-existent unless you like traffic. Location was great proximity to river.
-
The only downfall was the buffet breakfast. Unfortunately by 8.30am it wasn't very appetising as the food was looking like ut had been there for hours. The lovely waiter however got the chef to cook us some fresh food but something to maybe consider as running a buffet for 3 plus hours needs ongoing attention.but otherwise had a lovely stay.

Very close to good restaurants, coffee and breweries. Very clean and friendly staff.
-
Great place to stay. Will go back whenever possible.
-
The room was fine but a glorified motel quality for a price that was very high. It would be fine if 60% of the price but at the fee they charge it is a terrible value
-
The staff are really nice the place is well located. This is my second time there and I sure will be back

Location and comfortable beds Misleading pricing and square footage: room very small, shower narrow and small. No balcony. No breakfast included. Charged for parking. Short hours for hot tub and cold pool.

This is one of my favorite places to stay in Bend. Its location is perfect; right in downtown but only a 15 minute walk to the mill area. Very quiet, clean, and the rooms are fairly large. Had a great stay, can’t wait to come back!

The location and staff were friendly. The bar hours.

Location perfect for enjoying downtown Bend. Sometimes one goes to an under priced hotel and is surprised and delighted by the unexpected comforts, treats, or perks that are made available. Then there is the NEWBERRY in Bend. It’s Memorial Day weekend so you expect to pay more - in this case over $500 a night. From the descriptions on various booking sites this hotel is a step above and deserving of premium pricing. Unfortunately our expectations and this weekends reality did not match. Let’s start with $20 a night to park in a motel parking lot. Then there is the $2.50 per bottle of 12 ounce water in the room - in our case our hotel status meant we did not have to pay for this ridiculously overpriced eminity. The room had two towels, one bar of soap, and they offered bicycles for $20 for the first hour and the breakfast, while excellent, was served by an obviously over worked solo waiter who obviously couldn’t provide the level of service one might expect. I think you get the drift. This place charges top dollar for substandard service and seemingly penny pinching extras and perks. We will definitely find another hotel when we next visit Bend.
