fantastic location. extremely expensive, low value. you pay for your location. dated everything.

The room was clean and comfortable, the staff was friendly, and the hotel has a fun Berkeley vibe. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again the next time we're in town for a show.

Keep in mind that the rooms are also a bit small, but if you’re a solo traveler you should be completely fine.

- USB posts in the room (only standard outlets) - slippers, robe or standard amenities like q-tips - this might sound small, but again at this price point, you expect to have it Also, because it is a historic and old building (part of its charm), it has thin walls and poor ac/temperature controls. We could hear the rooms around us throughout the day and at night. Also, when folks in other rooms were smoking different plants, the smell was seeping into our room and impacting us.

Nice hotel near the UC Berkeley campus. Lots of shopping and dining options in the area. Very friendly and helpful staff!

The fact that they had no coffee out at a side bar in the lobby for gas was appalling!! Every hotel I’ve stayed in for the last 10 years has had coffee at the front desk!! Even the cheap hotels!! The service in the restaurant was very slow, although the food was very good! It was fine if you’re just lounging around, but if you have someplace to be, don’t eat at the restaurant in the hotel.

Overall experience was great. Great location! It was walking distance to the BART station, and campus stores and eateries.

What a fun room. This is our second “Graduate” hotel and the extra details are delightful. Great meal in the restaurant downstairs.

Staff was very friendly and helpful

The room and the hotel premises were clean. During my stay, the people at the front desk were very helpful, too. That being sad, I'm giving a low rating to the hotel because they put an additional charge on my credit card without providing a receipt and offering an explanation. I emailed the hotel for a receipt and a clarification, but my requests are being ignored. This behavior strikes me as highly unprofessional.

I love staying at The Graduate, it’s the only hotel I stay in when I go visit my daughter, everything is close by. The hotel is pretty nice, I like hanging out at the dining lobby, the Henry’s hotel is also convenient and they gave the best brisket burger. The rooms are clean and staff are very nice.

The pub food was very good.....great salad and good burger. So convenient if going to a show at the Greek Theater. You can walk there and parking at the hotel is easy and convenient.
