No A/C. I overlooked this as I haven't stayed at a hotel that didn't have A/C in decades. And the Bay Area keeps heating up year after year.

Budget motel but clean quiet safe convenient. We've stayed there several times and will again.

Pros: friendly staff, easy check-in process, updated room (including the bathroom). Cons: the area is a bit sketchy, at night, and there is some street (and train) noise. Overall, I would stay here again, if the price was right. And the room fan was very nice!

Other than refrigerator making annoying noise, the rest of the accommodations were fine. No problems. University Ave has a lot of traffic, so expect noise. Fairly convenient location to Bay Area.

Great place for the price. Clean, renovated, easy, parking included, convenient. Nothing extra, but everything was there. And the shower was very good, just right for tall people :)

I checked in, went to my room, & immediately checked out. The staff was friendly & there is parking. Those are the highlights. The room was not comfortable & I felt very uncomfortable & unsafe. The train was very loud. There is no way I could have slept there.

Very dated. The carpet was sticky, the bed had painful springs. They showed a lot of neglect. It took 5 minutes to get someone to the desk at check in, and he seemed like I was inconveniencing him.

I had a very nice stay. The room was clean. I was happily surprised that the room had been renovated and looked better than the photos!

We were there fishing so just needed a place to sleep.

Flowers on premises, kind staff, offered shampoo/ soap even though past raters said it wasn't provided; microwave/ fridge// self turn on fans if one wants to use them; hotel staff put me upstrs. as requested/ close to 4th St. lovely area... loudness of folks below or next to me on 3 nites...
