I had an excellent two days at University Inn & Suites. It was a steal for the price I paid! The room was huge, the bed was comfortable with clean and soft linens, The room has a microwave and a bar fridge as an added convenience. Everything in the bathroom was speck and span, and the water pressure in the shower was just right. They also provide guests with cold water dispenser (and coffee) in the lobby. Their generous staff also held my backpack for a few hours after check out. I will surely return to this place when I visit Berkeley in the future. The pillows were really small,

Large room, comfortable bed. Right on bus line. Several restaurants nearby. No coffee maker in room.

The water pressure in the shower was fantastic, the pool was clean, and the front desk staff was very nice. Bus was nearby so it was easy to travel to a spot to eat from. Only complaint is that the bed was uncomfortable and my back hurt the next morning (harder matress)

Plenty of space No protein with breakfast.

It is a clean hotel in Berkeley, the location was good for our plans. Breakfast includes bagels and waffle makers. Staff was very friendly. Good value for the price.

The parking was a blessing. The carpet smelled. I had to be taken to another room where pets were not permitted.

After riding coach for 4 days on a train it was good to sleep in a bed. No hair dryer in room. Asked at desk for one and they gave me one that barely worked. I bought a new one. Said they had laundry services but machines were broke and we walked 6 blocks to a laundromat that cost $10 for one load of laundry. The light and fan in bath e room were all in one so we had to hear the roar of t he fan while in the bathroom. The worse part is the neighborhood. Bars on windows does not indicate a safe neighborhood. This should not have been advertised as family friendly.

Proximity to my activitiy Desolate and not offering much as far as coffee and breakfasts

Young lady on front desk did not have good customer service.

Staff on the front desk/ young lady was not approachable.

Outdated furniture, 4k or HD television that's not either ?

Free parking. The hotel is really old, smelly and dirty.

All was good. Nice staff.
