I never saw the place, so I can't answer. I couldn't get there the first night, but I thought my valid credit card would hold the room and I could go the next day. NOPE! I booked the hotel for a big project at a nearby building. I half-expected to work all night and needed the hotel for a morning shower and a nap the next day. And yep, I pulled an all-nighter, then got an email saying I was a no-show cuz no check-in; I was charged for one night. Maybe that's fair, but I asked if I could get the rest of my reservation, zero response. The hotel got 1 night of payment. A response would have gotten them 3 nights, and I'd get a nap and a shower. Side note: my building project will host out-of-towners that want my recommendations. Maybe not this place... they don't respond.

Bed was comfortable, room clean, TV did not work well, bathroom appeared clean. Old elevator and hall way carpets, also carpet in my room had a hole in it.

The staff was so kind and the gm assisted so kindly. Thank you Mike. We will stay there again. We have no complaints. The kindness of staff stood out and nothing else was a problem.

This property feels like an apartment home. The interiors are well maintained, and staff and very friendly. I have some of the best nights sleep in their beds, 😊.

Exceptional

The man at the front desk was nice and didn’t make a deal about moving us from the dirty, damp, urine stained, blood stained, and cockroach room. I stayed at this place a year or so ago and I remember it being an okay stay, this was not the case this time around. The hotel has significantly gone downhill sadly. The floors in the main area are sticky and everything feels damp. The first room we were put in had urine stains on both beds, cockroaches, and blood stains. The man working the front desk was nice and moved us to a different room but it wasn’t much better, more stains on the bed and a spider in the tub. They also added a $50 pet fee. Honestly if it wasn’t so late we would’ve left because it was so disgusting and sketchy, we even had a man trying to fight my husband while walking our dog out front. Save yourself the headache and book somewhere else.

Affordable, descent , good service and great location!

Location is very convenient, a few blocks from 4th St. and San Pablo Ave., and right on the bus line to downtown/campus. My room was very quiet, bed was comfortable. Decent sized and recently updated bathroom. The man who checked me in at 10pm was very kind. The breakfast was a little sparse -- a waffle maker, pastries/bagels, and cold cereal. But it was nice to have free breakfast. The layout of my room (at the end of the hall) was a little unsettling with a tiled corridor between the door and the bedroom.

The gym left a little to be desired, and the vending machine was down. Otherwise, will worth the price

This hotel was closed for several years after the rooms had been renovated. It still looks same today. Breakfast was continental , maybe. Out of cereal , only hot choice is waffles. Coffee was great. The place is well maintained, but dated and old. GREAT location and lots of parking. Staff did a great job.

Its fine. Bed is fine. Excellent safety measures in place. Surprisingly quiet at night. Area a bit sketch.
