Staying at Holiday Inn Express in Bernalillo, New Mexico is home away from home. I have stayed at this hotel in the past and there are no surprises. I travel to New Mexico on occasion and will definitely stay at this hotel again.

We were very pleased with the hotel, rooms and staff. Room was very clean and roomy. Had a microwave and fridge. The pool was small but very inviting . The breakfast choices were great and coffee was delicious.

The room was basically spotless. The staff were friendly and even let us check in early. The complimentary breakfast was a nice surprise and hit the spot.

Clean Hotel, Friendly Staff - especially Irene the breakfast hostess.

First and foremost, it was clean!! The breakfast was actually edible! The bed was comfortable. It was neither freezing cold nor hot in room. TV was actually easy to use. It was not some off brand thing with stations and programs you never heard of before!
-
Nice clean quiet place for a business traveler. No problems. Okay breakfast. Local was great. Staff was helpful and friendly.
-
Amazing staff. Ice machine was out of order and outside needed some TLC.

Good experience overall.

I gave a lower rating because the young woman who checked us in wanted to charge my credit card for the deposit BUT she wanted to SWIPE the card behind the desk instead of letting me use the point of sale terminal in front to tap or insert to read the chip. This is a huge security concern and should not be allowed. I insisted on using the proper terminal. Otherwise the hotel was fine, but we won’t stay here again.
