The location was excellent and the reason we picked this spot, very walkable, easy parking, close to everything and about a 12 minute drive from Sunday River. The beds were clean and the rooms were tidy, I love small town Inns and always try and choose them over larger hotels and chains. Price point was incredibly fair. Fantastic place to stay on a weekend trip to the mountains. Loved the look and theme of the building, very cozy. I was a bit sad to see the restaurant was not open for the season, seeing as the welcome booklet still has a menu in it. We ended up walking to a nearby restaurant for dinner. Also the breakfast advertised was a continental breakfast which was a bit more minimalist than expected and the cup fruits were moldy. Finally, the staff member I talked to on the phone seemed very component and friendly, but I did not see a single member of the staff during my stay.

We booked a last minute night to visit friends at Sunday River. The room was spacious and check-in/check-out went smooth. We were able to get in a little early and that was helpful to make the earlier dinner times. The Inn is close to everything in Bethel and the winter activities we were doing. Can't wait to come back.

Very accommodating. Enjoyable experience

Host was lovely and welcoming. Great room.
-
Beautiful exterior Interior was a bit tired. Staff was limited and not very engaged or friendly

This property was an excellent choice.

The house Not much for service as off season
-
Old beautiful building on Main Street of beautiful New England Town. Classic architecture and common areas.

Breakfast was poor - no intro to what was available / where to find things / etc, no spoons for cereal, piles of dirty washing up in the “nook”. I have no issue with self service but a little bit of tidying up would make a huge difference Indifferent staff who seemed to find their guests an inconvenience. Extremely over heated rooms

SO charming! Lovely inn, gorgeous property, and a very comfortable stay. Nothing to dislike about this charming inn.

The stay was out of season so not all services were available. Staff that was there were very helpful and nice. I would stay there again

Very Nice

Quiet, historic , elegant old building, well-maintained. Lovely patio and nice breakfast bar. Easy check-in. Lovely antiques in room. Good food nearby and helpful concierge. Beds were lumpy and no soft pillows. A/C was noisy. Ran out of tissues in bath. 2 dressers and no desk.

Rooms are always super clean and comfortable Nothing

Very cute. Staff very accommodating. It was expensive for the small room.

Great place. Nice people. Recommend.

The continental breakfast was mediocre. The tables were dirty when I arrived and it appeared no one was checking on things once the food was put out. Inn is dated and in need of a little TLC. There was no one around to greet me or to check me out. DInner was good, but pricey.

Restaurant was a nice bonus with great beer and mixed cocktails. It was cozy and quiet in our room. Beds could have been more comfortable, otherwise everything was great!

Within walking distance to stores and restaurants. Nice bar in B and B, good food and friendly bar tender. In the bathroom, there were no hooks or bars to hang things, and the bathtub didn’t work. The TV didn’t work because of a Wi-Fi problem.

Delightful old house converted into a B&B. Unique but spacious rooms. Shower very average and breakfast was nothing to write home about.
