The breakfast was outstanding and the owner's attention to detail was something we haven't encountered in our travels. They made a point to make you feel special and attended to. We can see why people would revisit. Glass on any surfaces made of antique wood. We were kindly asked to use coasters, but we sat a glass down to put ice in it and that's all it took to make a small ring. We felt so poorly. They have so many nice antique pieces in each room, seems a pity not to keep them covered.

Clean room and excellent staff. The breakfast was special both in quality and delivery. The welcome was excellent. We stayed at this Bed & Breakfast two years ago. This current visit was just like the last - excellent, warm welcome, and willing to help when we needed. When we travel to Maine again, this Bed & Breakfast will be our first choice.

It felt like I was a guest in John and Jeannette’s home! For breakfast, Jeannette made cranberry orange French toast which was the best I’ve ever had in my life. I thoroughly enjoyed getting to know the hosts and fellow guests over breakfast. The level of attention to detail was above and beyond my expectations. I will certainly be back!

The Holidae House is a wonderful place to stay. John and Jeanette are great hosts. It feels like home but you don't have to do any of the work. The breakfast is always amazing! The rooms have everything you need. AC, fans, plenty of outlets to charge things, chairs, lights, TV. Bethel has so much to do and it's beautiful all year round.
