The Holidae House is a wonderful place to stay. John and Jeanette are great hosts. It feels like home but you don't have to do any of the work. The breakfast is always amazing! The rooms have everything you need. AC, fans, plenty of outlets to charge things, chairs, lights, TV. Bethel has so much to do and it's beautiful all year round.

Very knowledgeable and friendly owners. very clean property all though aged. most pieces are proudly original. Very cute property and was a great stay.

Staying at Holidae House is a worthwhile step back into history. The property has been updated to provide all the services you expect when traveling but still maintains much of its heritage. The hosts, John & Jeanette, were wonderful. They make you feel like they are glad to you came and they really want to do everything they can to make your stay exceptional. John shared the history of the home and it is quite a tale. The homemade breakfast topped off our stay and getting to visit with the other guests added to the experience. We would give it more than 5 stars if we could.

We had a good night sleep in a cozy room and comfortable bed. John was very warm and friendly and had a wealth of information to share. Jeannette prepared a delicious breakfast complete with freshly ground coffee. We will definitely recommend the Holidae House B and B to our friends and will return here if we travel this way again.

A real bed & breakfast in a lovely old house. Very friendly, helpful and communicative hosts. Great source of local information. Large room, good facilities and very clean. Perfect location in the centre of Bethel.

Staying at a B&B is so much nicer than a regular hotel! Owner John made us feel important and right at home. A real breakfast in the morning included with the stay was a wonderful treat. All this more than compensated for not having a king size bed or a mini fridge in the room. This stay was by far the best of 5 in our New England trip.

Amazing stay, super comfortable bed, friendly staff and a delicious breakfast. The only bad part was having to leave.

What a wonderful Inn to stay in. The owners were very accommodating, thoughtful and friendly. They pay attention to the smallest detail to make your stay is one that is memorable . Delicious breakfast. Lovely Rooms! 5 stars!

John and Jeanette were the absolute sweetest, making our stay warm and delicious (Jeanette’s French toast casserole is phenomenal!). John was so informative, helping us get there late at night, recommending a great dinner place, and letting us checkout late so we could come back and shower after the slopes. Truly the definition of hospitality That we couldn’t stay longer!

In every corner of the property, there is a wonderful antique to appreciate or on which to sit (comfy antique chairs). Almost all the pieces are from the period of the house's construction--or earlier. Very quaint and charming. Breakfasts are first rate in terms of variety and quality. Jeannette's quiche was truly sublime, but all of the food was delicious and not the typical fare. Honestly, there were no down-sides to this stay. The place is comfortable and we had some wonderful conversations with John and Jeannette.

The hosts were fantastic, and the breakfast was delicious.

Clean and cozy. The food was great, and Jeannette and John were very friendly and accommodating. Some noise from other guests going up and down the stairs, but that is to be expected in a historic property.

This was our second stay and it was just as wonderful as the first. The bed was very comfortable and the breakfast was absolutely delicious! Add friendly service and it made for a wonderful brief getaway. We’ll be back!
