great restaurant and location; room was nice

Beds were very comfortable. Hotel is older but comfortable for the one night stay. The concierge was very helpful. It rained our whole visit and they provided umbrellas for the guest to borrow. The breakfast was also very nice. The Eggs Benedict was on point.

Lighting in the room was poor.

The check-in process was smooth, and the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. The room was spotless, and the bathroom was equally clean. I have no complaints whatsoever.

The receptionist most of them are not nice and they were not helpful at all And even after I told them that I am a monthly client at least every three weeks I saty each time for four nights . They didn't even care So please makes sure to tell those people that this is not nice and not acceptable at all we pay money for the service so we expect good service in return Thank you

I like how clean the room was. What is didn't like. The tile up in the c ceilin fell in the bathroom.

A 4-start hotel that feels like it's already pretty worn-out. Not to sound like Basil Fawlty here, but the clientele is a bit rough...loud groups looking for a deals. The hotel is more than 2 miles from any restaurant, so its basically unwalkable. The neighborhoods nearby are fine, but its just boring apartments and sidewalks, with nothing to look at. The air-conditioning unit in my room caused condensation in the bathroom, leading to a ceiling tile falling and smashing on the sink at midnight. Staff was helpful. Parking is $25, but the parking system is unclear. After you pay to park at the hotel, you will need to drive somewhere for dinner and pay to park somewhere else, before driving back to the hotel. If you are going back into the city in the morning, you'll have to deal with traffic for a third time, wondering why you didn't pay more to just stay in a hotel in the actual downtown.

The rooms were not very clean. The toilet lid was coming off, there was hair in the shower and around the sink. There was blood or makeup on the light switch. The bath towels were as thin as paper towels. Elevators took forever. But was one of the nicest gyms I have seen in a hotel

Exceptional

Checkout at 12 PM. The facility has all the amenities you could wish for, gym, laundry room, restaurant and so on.

Room was clean. Beds were comfy. Parking system remembered our car and made coming and going through gate very easy. TV had a good range of channels. Bathtub was kinda odd. Up higher off the ground. Had to bend over a bit to wash hair.

Clean Surprise : have to pay $150 for my dog

The Marriott Bethesda was extremely nice. The staff was friendly. Check-In and Out was easy. The parking was secured and the restaurant, room service, exercise facility and pool were wonderful. We will be staying here again.

Great stay, reliable

So upon arriving (@4:30p after a 3hr drive) to the property the outside& entryway appearance did look good, Elevators were poorly maintenance and filthy. Exiting the elevator to my flr. Floors in the hallways not the carpet, but the floor were very dirty& damaged,cracked floor. Upon entering room breezeway &bathrm. appeared clean, refrigerator, stand and amenities on it were very dusty and dirty double queen beds in the room. The bed near the patio door was dirty had appeared someone with flaky dirty skin had laid on top of the bed, maybe dead shedding skin on the floor as well when call front desk to have them remedy the situation while I went to the pool for three hours came back to room. The bed linen had not been changed or cleaned called to the front desk a 2nd time due to linen still had not been changed or clean 8 o’clock at night. Had to call the third time and was asked if housekeeping came up and changed the linen they did not 10 minutes later housekeeping arrive handed me a top duvet &2 flat sheets and had me change my own bed. The rate I was quoted was $253. I was charged $300 for my stay. They did waive the parking fee due to the dirty bed. I think as being a member of Expedia& Marriott Bonvoy this is unacceptable. They explained it was nothing they could really do for me being as though I book through a third-party (Expedia). If feasible I would like a full refund. In the future I don’t recommend staying at this location until they maintenance the building.

Breakfast was fantastic. Didn't like paying to park each day. Paying to park. Bathroom had a pee smell.
