They had a guy at the front desk helping us that couldn’t hear. It took 45 minutes to check in. Manager finally came and got everything right and gave us a voucher for the restaurant for a drink.

The only thing good about this stay was going to the nations capital on the 250th. We got here on Thursday and the temp outside was about 95. Well we thought we'd go to the restaurant and eat this way we didn't have to drive. Well the whole hotel unless your in your room has no A/C noting. I bet the temperature in the restaurant was well over 100 with no fans noting. Needless to say we didn't eat there at all. Then on the last night we were woke up to the fire alarm going off saying to evacuate the hotel that there was a fire detected in the building. Well after waiting an hour and a half we went back in without knowing anything. The fire department didn't even show up. So we went in got our stuff and just left on about 4 hour sleep. When i went to the desk to check out the person said that someone playing around set the alarm off. Well no one came outside and told anyone anything. Also no where on my original booking on here did it say anything about paying for parking. It's like they expect you to walk to a hotel 400 miles away and park your car somewhere else.

The cleaning crew seems to leave their hair around, that is my only observation. It would be helpful to add few more trips to the shuttle. The stay was restful and complete.

It was convenient to everything. Didn't like having to pay $25 a day for parking and I'm not sure I knew about that in advance. My complaint about the pool was that it opened at 10am and I couldn't swim laps when it opened and then it was too crowded. I just would have liked if it opened earlier. The hotel was very comfortable. The staff was very helpful no matter where we needed help.

only thing was the pool was not clean.

Great location. There is a really good restaurant on site. It's close to Bethesda downtown and Rockville. They offer shuttle service to Bethesda. I didn't use the pool or fitness center. The only trouble I had was trying to order room service.

Restaurant on sight has yummy food. The gym is huge and incredible. Not your typical hotel workout room. Very nice and big outdoor pool too. Room was spacious and bed/pillows were great.

The A/C did not work in our room, after almost 2 hours, they moved us to a new room, which was ice cold, better flooring, better tv, and within the time it took us to unpack(again) after having unpacked and packed back up to move, they told us that the room we were in was already taken. So we had to pack up and move AGAIN! And the desk manager just walked up and SNATCHED the room key out of my wife’s hand when she was down there returning the keys from our first room. She didn’t say anything but walked up and yanked the card and said no that room is taken already, and walked off. Richard at the front desk was awesome, he was trying to get us taken care of quickly, professional, and we had to move Again. Then the room we got was hot again and ac didn’t work great, but it was already almost 10 pm. And after being in the car for 7 1/2 hrs, the kids wanted to go to pool, and eat dinner, and we just decided to stay where we were. The pool closed at 8 pm, so we didn’t get to swim. And didn’t get back with dinner till almost 11:00 pm. And we were supposed to have someone reach out to us about compensation for our trouble, since we reserved this room over a month beforehand, and never received a call. So at checkout I told the desk attendant what happened and they only offered me back $50 for the parking I paid for. Not satisfied at all.

I liked the layout of the room, the dimmable lamp that could double as a nightlight, and the restaurant, Cooper's Mill was good. Loved that the hotel is pet friendly. I didnt like that the pet fee wasnt clearly stated on the website. The comforter on the bed was stained, and although it's white, many hotels have white bedding and in my experiences it was never stained.

Room was clean. The area was quiet as well. Would stay again.

It’s a good enough Marriott close to plenty of places we’re visiting in Bethesda and surrounding areas. We took advantage of the pool which was great on a hot day. The room was tidy and pleasant, but the overall vibe is a bit dated. Could use a mild renewal, but clean and quiet is always good in my book. I’d return.

The brand name. Continue 2 -- I tried asking about taxi and bus services, and waited until this morning about 9 AM inside. I had been told the shuttle would resume at 6:30 AM. I kept asking about status and waiting until 10 AM outside for a shuttle. Yes, of course, the service! You can say the service that I received, or did not receive. I went to a different Marriott, coming from the Bethesda Metro stop around 8-9 PM to the Headquarters property. I was informed that I was at a different location.
