The Bethesdan Hotel, Tapestry Collection by Hilton

I had a nice stay at The Bethesdan Hotel. The staff were outstanding: friendly, positive and incredibly helpful with everything. They really made our trip special. The room was very clean, especially the bed and bathroom, which felt fresh and comfortable. One small suggestion - cleaning the windows from the outside would make the room even better. There were a few minor maintenance points that could be improved: the shower fixture wasn’t fully secured and wobbled slightly, the bathroom had some scratches, and the balcony doors were blocked. The rooftop pool was ok, but the relaxation area and the floor itself look dated and would really benefit from a refresh with more shade and greenery. Anyway, had a wonderful time thanks to the service and great location. A few updates in these areas would make the hotel better.

Our Room was clean and nice though and the guy at the front desk was always friendly and helpful!

However beds were comfy and staff was professional. The area outside was clean, no homeless hanging around. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

The staff was good, could have explained some of the inner workings of the hotel more. Also no one mentioned the elevator situation, which was horrible and took up a lot of our time. The elevator is one of the worse thing here.

1 out of 3 elevators was broken our whole stay. This made waiting for an elevator very long process. Other than that everything was good.

The room served our purpose but it was nothing special. The Phone & TV was v difficult to control and no soap was in the bathroom. During the evening we had the smell of pot permeating through our door from another room, which really was not appreciated the price to park your car in their parking garage was outrageous per night The restaurant downstairs was very nice and the server was lovelyThank you.

Couldn’t get in the pool before check out

Rooms are very large and comfortable. Check in staff was wonderful and location is great. It is walkable to the metro which was perfect for exploring DC. Swimming pool was simple but great to cool off. Elevators and parking were terrible. One elevator didnt work and the other two we full abd we waiting over 20 mins for the elevator fi ally just eneded up riding all the way up to go down the garage. Parking height restrictions required us to park on G1 which was for trucks abd vans (we were a SUV with racking on top of roof) abd when we left there was a notice on our car telling us that we would be charges an extra $50 which is ridiculous when there was no other option!!!

I do wish the breakfast food was better especially for the price. Also, they need to fix the elevator situatuon. There are 3 elevators and 1 was unavailable the entire time. Causing wait times to get to the pool, lobby, or our room exceeding 10 minutes. I would stay, again but not waste money on the breakfast.

Breakfast was expensive, the room was clean. Staff seemed friendly but we didnt interact with them much. Parking garage was very small and not easy to park with an suv, but its possible.

Very convenient to NIH and Walter Reed. Proximity to sights in Bethesda is great

Had to call for coffee, tea, sugar and milk to be refilled But to be fair to the staff, their service was good and responsive.
