Hilton Garden Inn Bethesda Downtown

Elevator busted. People got trapped. 1/4 works. Cook and bartender a re food. Room has roach like bugs. Stay away.

It was centrally located in downtown Bethesda. I had an in and out garage ticket, but for the most part, I walked to everything. It was clean and comfortable.

Loved this hotel! Close to metro and bus lines, clean and comfortable rooms, and helpful staff. There is a laundry room but they were out of soap powder. Having the microwave and refrigerator in room was important, but would have appreciated some plates and tableware. But it was an excellent value and we would definitely stay there again!

Unfortunately, my experience at this hotel was very disappointing. When we arrived, their system was down, and we had to wait for almost two hours before we were given a room. The staff did not provide clear updates during the wait. On top of that, the bed sheets looked old, worn out, and not very clean, which made our stay uncomfortable. I hope the hotel improves its customer service and the cleanliness of the rooms.

Stay was amazing! When I’m in the area, this will be the only hotel I stay at! Well done!

Amount of mold around the tub and the previous guests shampoo was still in the shower! But staff were lovely. Would definitely stay again

Most of the staff were helpful. I did ask for a couple k-cup for the second day and the front desk person said no…then when I pushed he said he’d have them sent to the room. Got them four hours later and they only sent decaf.

All was great, but only one elevator in use.

The room was comfortable and clean

To start , we were placed in a Handicap room and noticed this first when we went to put our clothes away in the closet because the clothes rack came to our waste and definitely did not provide the room needed to hang our clothes and of course the bathroom was designed for a wheel chair. We went down to the desk and informed them that we needed another room. After waiting a while we were placed in another room and after unpacking (again) and getting settled in we then discovered that the bath tube had serious stains in it (we did not want to go through the process of moving again ) so we cleaned it best we could and stayed. We checked in on a Friday and thought there would be room service on Saturday but to our surprise there was not. No verbal communications from the front desk concerning this so we were really caught off guard when we came back from a long day's adventure in DC after walking all day we were tired and sweating and needed some cleaning up. We walked in our room and to our surprise the dirty towels were still there and the bed was un-made. No room service at all. We contacted the front desk and were informed that there were no room service that day because of shortage of staff. So we requested towels and it took about 40 minutes for them to be delivered to our room (after us calling back to the front desk to ask when were they going to be delivered twice). Also we were surprised at the $16.00 breakfast fee, it was not posted

Very dated rooms. Needs upgrading. I would expect better for the money paid. Staff was nice and helpful, though

The parking fee was too high. Also, my room wasn’t cleaned when I got back later that day and the used towels were still in the room. No clean towels were brought to the room.

The property was clean. My bathroom had paint peeling off the ceiling.

The only negative is that the air-conditioning makes a loud bang noise when it turns off or on (not sure which) which woke me up several times.
