AC Hotel by Marriott Bethesda Downtown

I love the hotel, however, the morning cleaning wasn’t done until the afternoon and the job was rushed and sloppy. Other than that, excellent t hotel, wonderful room

Great location. Clean, amazing gym, friendly staff.

Was there for a weekend. Property was clean. I'd call the decor minimal and modern. Staff were helpful. It's a short walk away from Bethesda Row, which was convenient. I'd stay here again. If the hotel's parking garage isn't available (this was the situation during our trip) a public parking garage is across the street with some long term parking available on its upper level.

Had the pleasure of staying for one night at the hotel as we were in the area for a wedding! The hotel staff was extremely helpful in providing us an early check-in so that we would be able to get dressed and head to the wedding. Super clean, friendly staff, clean, modern rooms.

When we arrived at the hotel we we're told that parking was $ 35.00 a night, however, the garage was closed and all parking was to be Valet parking and the sign in the garage indicated parking would be complimentary as in FREE. This was in direct contradiction and ultimately after showing the image of the sign the manager agreed we we're correct. Subsquently when trying to park the car using the valet service they had just one staff member parking cars and it was a 20 minute wait, but for dropping off your car as well as retrieving your car. Needless to say we will NOT be staying at this hotel ever again. Management did not handle this well and since they knew the garage would be closed for maintenance and parking would be via Valet they should have put on additional staff.

We thoroughly enjoyed our long term stay at this stylish hotel. The lobby and lounge/restaurant were beautiful. The complimentary lavender sachets were much appreciated. The room was modern, minimalistic, and exceptionally clean. I would even go so far to say it felt brand new. We had a high floor city view and the sunrise each morning was serene. The staff were very professional, yet attentive and friendly. All of our requests for “extras” were easily accommodated. Enclosed parking garage was well lit and convenient. Downtown Bethesda offered shopping, dining, and entertainment within safe walking distance. Standouts were Fish Taco, Dolcezza, maman and Bethesda Row Cinema. Note: the Bethesda train (across the street) is out of service until maybe September. However, there is a free shuttle and metro bus outside the hotel. AC is our new preferred stay when visiting the area.

Hotel was very clean! Love the hardwood floors. Food was pretty good and fairly priced. The staff were very friendly and attentive. It was a safe environment . Loved the fitness center, lots of equipment. It was very big and had very modern equipment like peloton bikes. I didn’t like how expensive onsite parking was. I would prefer $20-25 max especially since most ppl will make alot of other purchases on site.

The property was beautiful, clean and extremely convenient. Staff was exceptional, especially Mr. Rubin. He made sure all of our needs were met, especially parking. Would highly recommend this hotel.
