I don’t know how amazing the weather was but it snowed on June 30 was pretty nasty. Never seen snow in June but could be part for the course 27° and 38 high kind of weird not much to do in the summertime. They’re pretty boring.

Our room was clean but the hallways and elevator were not. Elevator made a concerning loud banging noise when using and could use a deep cleaning. Staff were extremely difficult to understand due to heavy accents however they were very nice! Breakfast was what you would expect of a continental breakfast, no complaints nor commendations.

The scenery and area were amazing! I highly recommend this Lodge for anyone traveling to the area. N/a

The location is beautiful however the interior could use some upkeep (especially compared to the Summit Lodge next door that we found out was similar in price). The carpet in the elevator and room definitely needs to be replaced. The place offers free breakfast but it’s not much, the small bar was closed at 6 pm, and the parking cost extra. The beds were comfy and rooms had lots of space. We visited the summit lodge next door and found it to be extraordinary on the inside. We found out it was the same price but also included free parking.

The hotel is set in a beautiful location. The lobby had a beautiful fireplace and cozy couches to relax after a long day of hiking. The pool and spa were wonderful.

Big Sky Resort is a ghost town in June. The advertising for the services and amenities available is NOT a truthful portrayal. Despite the lack of reliable services, particularly restaurants, Big Sky Resort will charge you high rates for a room with OLD bathrooms, throttled, poor hot water and old, musty carpets and rooms Breakfast was a pittance. Staff are friendly, but incapable of addressing any real concerns. Be very aware: Big Sky Resort, it's adjacent and associated "hotels" or "lodges" and the Big Sky Recreation operation are separate businesses, yet they market the experience as seamless. The restaurants are just randomly closed, and they lack any and all regard in maintaining accurate hours of business operations. If you are hungry, one place might be open. There is a small convenience market that closes too early. So... do not plan to dine well at Big Sky Resort and Village in June. If you plan a warm weather (June) trip to Big Sky Resort, be advised you are only a money donor. The place is poorly maintained, and the marketing is just marketing. Find a different hotel if you are using Big Sky as a base from which to explore Yellowstone, etc. Nice ski lifts. Nice staff. Just unreliable amenities and no food options. Plan to buy groceries or drive down the mountain to eat. Do not stay here if you expect a nice room and infrastructure.

Nice property! Clean.

Breakfast was ready and hot when it said it would be. Laundry facilities were modern and clean. Staff was helpful. Counter top in room was not clean. Shower curtain had not been changed since last guest. Was charged for parking and not told about it by the front desk. Easily heard the guests in other rooms talking.

At first glance this hotel was great but after staying for a night the cracks started to show. The room was not a clean as it should be. As we were packing up to leave and making sure we had all of our belongings, we found a dirty pair of underwear that had fallen behind a chair. After looking behind the dresser it was very clear that detailed cleaning of the rooms is not a priority. The cleaning staff also smelled of weed so I’m guessing that’s why the room was not very clean. In the shower you could see the pink mold that grows on bathrooms when they haven’t been cleaned in a long time. The pool deck was also constantly covered in water (obviously because it’s a pool) however because of the type of surface of the pool deck it was incredibly slippery. My daughter fell just from walking as well as both of my nephews. I probably would not stay here again unless these things were fixed.

But I take serious issue with showing up after having made the reservation on Expedia to be informed that there was a mandatory $12 parking fee that they only charge if you book through a 3rd party website. I don’t care about the $12, but I do care about surprise charges. What if I had showed up and the parking fee was $75, etc. It’s not like the parking fee is optional up at Big Sky, you are going to pay to park there. If you need to throw in $12 parking fee when I’m booking on a 3rd party site that’s fine, but it’s dishonest in my opinion to show up and essentially be held hostage to whatever fee they decide to charge for parking. I also understand recouping some value if I book 3rd party. But let’s be honest, I probably wouldn’t have found your hotel in the first place without the 3rd party agent. So just don’t charge me a surprise fee when I arrive. It’s not honest business.

DONT book here in early June!!! Nothing on the mountain is open. Few things were open down in Big Sky village. We booked 2 nights and checked out after the first night since there was literally nothing open, and they refused to refund us for the unused second night. Never again. Awful service.

I wasn't happy that they charged $12 for parking if you use outside booking ( hotels.com)
