The Summit Hotel at Big Sky Resort

Great Views and an amazing pool.

Possibly the best hot tub I've encountered - indoor and outdoor, so much space, and what a great spot for people watching! The sauna was also a treat. Bed was comfy and I slept great. I always wish hotel fitness rooms had more options. This one had more than some, but not everything I was hoping for (heavier kettlebells).

Best staff! Front desk, valets, bartenders, dining host, outstandingly friendly helpful. I received fantastic service especially considering it was the closing days. Thank you Sumit staff for making my stay special!

Unfortunately, the mattress in our room was probably the worst I have ever slept on. I was unable to get a decent night’s sleep during our entire stay, which significantly affected our experience. I brought the issue to the attention of the hotel staff, but I was disappointed by the lack of concern or willingness to address it. I asked whether we could be moved to another room, but I was told that all of the mattresses in the hotel were the same. The staff also acknowledged that they had received complaints from other guests about the mattresses in the past. I did not want to make a scene during our stay, but I honestly feel that some form of compensation or refund would be appropriate. When staying at a hotel, I believe the most basic expectations are a clean room and a comfortable bed where you can get a good night's sleep. Unfortunately, the bed at The Summit did not meet that basic expectation. Given the hotel's reputation and the price of the stay, I expected much better. Unfortunately, based on this experience, I would not recommend The Summit to other travelers.

It is a beautiful hotel to stay at! The staff is very friendly and the property and rooms are clean. Since I was there at the end of the season the restaurant and bar were low on food and drink choices.

We had the MOST amazing stay! The staff is incredible, so helpful and so thoughtful. Thanks especially to Lexi and Abbie at the front desk and all of the valet staff (the bartender this weekend was standout as well). We were SO happy here and everyone made our time here INCREDIBLE! Stay here if you can!!!

Our stay was amazing. Property has everything you could need! Restaurants, shops, bar. The spa is wonderful after a long day. We would definitely stay here again clean, king room beautiful with fireplace!

Beautiful properties and attentive staff

Location was great very scenic. Food was available there which was nice. Music and close to court area which is helpful. We ate at the hotel restaurant. Service was great very helpful and polite but ateaks did not come out as asked. Was looking for medium on both and got well done on a $60 dollar steak and rare on a kids sirloin. So did not feel like we got our value from food. Parking. For convenience of having my own vehicle I have to pay a valet fee to have my vehicle within reach, or I use free parking which is a ten minute walk away from the hotel. There is a parking lot right below the hotel that has a bus and two cars in it for the two days we were there with at least 30 spaces. If that was a $25 parking fee for those spaces you would be 2 minutes from your room it would accommodate the place very nice for people who want immediate access to their vehicle.

We booked for 1 night and stayed for 2. We loved the hotel and the village. It had a great vibe.

Loved our stay at The Summit. Staff members were incredibly helpful, and the room was as described. Loved how spacious the shower was and all the spa amenities. Wish the self-parking was closer. The walk was about 6-10 minutes. Not a big deal in the summer, but hauling your ski or snowboard in the winter might be a bit of effort. Valet parking is $50/day.

This was a terrific stay. From the moment you got there and all the in betweens. The staff was amazing and friendly. The bell men were so help-full and knowledgeable about the area. Big sky and the Summit hotel is a must.

Beautiful hotel/condo with the best valet ever! Only stayed one night but will definitely be back!!

Everything about our stay was perfect with one exception - very thin walls! The noise from the room next door, just normal talking and opening and closing of doors, was very loud. All staff were very friendly and helpful - Timothy, Abby, and Grace in particular. The Carabiner restaurant/bar was excellent. Excellent value for the room rate too.

This hotel was absolutely amazing. You were in the heart of the mountain. They gave us valet for our anniversary and valet greeted us every day like we were coming home. The room was so big with a full size shower, full kitchen, living room and full size closet. The pool was the icing on top. It was open all day and helped you relax every day in the mountain air. It was 30 minutes from hikes, 60 minutes from Yellowstone, and 30 minutes from Bozeman. You have to stay here. So amazing.

Great fully stocked room! Beautiful views. Parking is the only bummer about this place...good walk to the parking lot.

We did a last minute stay on our way through and couldn’t have been happier with this place. The staff were so accommodating and nice. The amenities and views from the spa were incredible. The room was perfect.

WE will retrun as the room is clean, the staff go out of their way and the Spa The Refuge is fabulous!!

Surprised our room had a murphy bed when the hotel seemed to be only 25% occupied. The travelocity website didn't clearly indicate this. It was not comfortable and I ended up sleeping half the night on the couch. In addition, the murphy bed was oriented so we could not lay in bed and see the television. Also, the single cup coffee maker leaked out the bottom. On the positive side, the staff and view were fantastic.
