Holiday Inn Binghamton Downtown by IHG

Are air conditioner sounded like a jet engine and couldn't deal with humidity leaving the carpet to feel wet. Entire room was felt worn. Bathroom door couldn't even properly close. When AC wasn't running we could hear the lobby music from floor below while lying in bed. We were on a “quiet” floor!

For the most part, the entire property was clean and well maintained. The only issue we had was the carpet in our room was very sticky and the couch was filthy. The set up of the room is excellent, but we couldn’t believe how dirty it was. We even found four shards of broken glass on the carpet that looked like they may have come from a broken beer bottle.

The breakfast was chargeable. I skipped it. Free continental breakfast.

The room size was nice . Beds were clean . The door had to be slammed to close . Bathroom a little dingy. Rusted ceiling tile . Had to kneel down to wash my hair shower head was at my chin I am six feet tall. Carpet was stained . And for the price booked it should have had breakfast included . Not sure if I should blame the hotel or booking .com.

I would rate our stay 4.5 stars if it was an option. The room was clean, the staff and room cleaners were on top of things. Gym was pretty nice. Didn't eat anything there but the menu looked pretty good. Only downside at all is something they had no control over and that was a couple off balance homeless people made my wife and daughter uncomfortable in the parking lot. Staff was quick to call the authorities when they caused issues and truly put forth the effort to keep them away, but it's a tall order to deal with people that have mental issues. Overall a nice stay and in close proximity to places to eat. Would definitely recommend.

Location is great to walk a lot of restaurants and bars.

Friendly check in girl. Nice cozy beds. Convenient location. The shower was okay, but didn't drain efficiently. I had water above my ankles by the time I was finished. The shower also sprayed out into the tiny space between sink and shower, as the curtain didn't go all the way across. This created a mildewy smell in that tight space, leading me to believe possible mold spores. Also, 379.00 in this economy, is far too high for one night, when check in is 4 and check out is 11. Not even one full day! That's just greedy and crazy!

Excellent and great amenity to have a charging station for my car. Would stay here again.

Different and more menu ichoices

Bathroom was dirty A few things in the room were broken. Shower had only conditioner and no shampoo. Was very difficult to get service in the restaurant despite it being nearly empty.

Clean and tidy, helpful reception staff

I enjoyed how clean this property was! However about 3am on yesterday I woke up to the air conditioner unit making a loud screeching noise and had to turn the unit off for the rest of the night due to me needing to be up by 530. Very disturbing.
