Southern Comfort Motel

The hotel is really rundown. The bathroom was falling apart. The entire toilet was loose, there was black mold all around the tub, the grout between the wall tiles was black with mold. The toilet paper holder was broken as well as door knob and the tub faucet. Water pressure was weak. Furnishings were sparse, with a patio chair as the only seating option. The only commendable thing about this room was the bed, which was clean and comfortable.

The room was fine, bathroom was huge, which was a really plus. Normally don't find that in hotels. Room was clean but the location of the motel was not in a good spot. A lot of people living there and hanging out on the outside. They were nice though but it was a little sketchy. Very loud at night but the air conditioner help that. I do recommend staying there if you're looking for a cheap option, but if I had young children I would have not have stayed there.

Upon arrival the room i was given stunk so bad i had to ask for another room in which the gentleman was mad about it.The new room had no hygiene products such as shampoo/conditioner/bodywash only 1 set of towels and bugs as well. The office attendant wasn't professional at all.

Very nice couple owns and operates the property. Very accommodating and comforting. They are genuinely concerned about you. Love this place!!! There was nothing that I didn't like.

All in all no problems very helpful. Street noise but you know expected. Walls are thin.

Parking sucked , it's not seven stars like listed , it's not the cleanest for sure , there wasn't a microwave in the room nor was there anywhere to put my clothes . I'm thankful the AC worded that's for sure . The bathroom had mold growing in the shower. The flooring was horrible , there wasn't a iron so I couldnt check for bed bugs which I'm thankful we didn't get bit so I'm hopeful there wasn't any in our room at least. This place needs a lot of work if they want to live up to the seven stars they have .

The price and that’s about it. The neighborhood, the only microwave is outside, no end tables in the room the only table was a knee high old coffee table and an outside glass top wrought iron small table with no chairs. Was just happy to wake up and find my car was still in the parking lot. Whole area is awful, and this hotel needs torn down and rebuilt. An outdoor microwave next to the ice machine….

The staff was friendly. We walked into the room and it smelled like it had been chainsmoked in for 10 years. The bed was extremely stiff and uncomfortable. The location didnt seem safe at all. All night long we heard people racing down the street and screaming. Lots of cars coming in and out of the property throughout the night. Also the door didnt close all the way which didnt help with already feeling unsafe.
