Courtyard by Marriott Chicago Bloomingdale

Great location for my business trip.

Very cozy! Im coming back for my next chicago trip

No frills hotel. Our wireless in our unit didn't work so we couldn't watch Netflix or anything but the basic channels. Having a balcony was nice. And the units are huge for Chicagoland. Air was nice and cool. Building was secure. No pool. Pricing was inflated due to Lollapalooza.

everything was good and friendly staff

If you’re looking for a safe and clean place to sleep, this is fine. However set your expectations lower than what you typically expect from a Courtyard. The front desk staff took 15 minutes to get us checked in with our Expedia reservation. The lobby restroom faucet is broken but the staff said just to nudge it. Rooms were about 80% renovated. Bathroom ceiling fan sounds like an airplane motor. $12 for parking didn’t make sense for the location given it’s surrounded by retail. We would not stay here again.

Tried the in room coffee pot and it wouldn’t pour a cup of coffee. Just small amt at a time and left the rest in the pot. Had to keep pushing the button. Coffee brand was terrible coffee. Our sink leaked a lot of water too when turned on in the bathroom sink. All concerns were reported at check out

But I would give them another shot

I didn’t like that they charge you daily parking fee.

The customers have to pay $12 a night to keep the apartment complex next door from parking in the hotel parking lot. Why do we have to pay? Just give us a parking pass and tow cars who shouldn’t be parking there.

The staff are all focused on giving you the best experience possible. The rooms are clean. I almost booked an extra night. I will be back again.

Very clean

I absolutely loved my huge balcony. I had chairs to sit out and enjoy the breeze. The room was spacious and very comfortable. There wasn't a microwave in the room but there is an accessible one in the lobby. The area is nearby to plenty of shopping and places to dine. I do believe they charge for breakfast and if you have a family this may or may not be a hindrance. I will stay here again.

Everything but the bathroom. Great location. Nice and clean. Staff was great. Bathroom is outdated and needs way more counter space.

Great stay

I like Mariott hotels, though the buliding itself was a bit older than I expected. However, the room was nice and cozy, expecially the bed/linen quality was better than other competitors at this price point.

Needs furniture on balcony

room was clean and comfortable Room had no USB ports. Not even on the lamp. Strange in this day and age and especially in the US. And no phone chargers were available in the lobby shop.
