The staff was extremely friendly and the facility was in a wonderful location-only walking distance from IU.

Parking garage is not secured

My room was not ready when I got there. They tried giving me another room, telling me that it was the same kind of room when it wasn’t so they had us go to that room until our room was ready and then we had to move our things to the room that was originally supposed to be our room…. the front desk area, where we to sit and relax and enjoy our breakfast was so hot. It was unbearable ended up trying to take our breakfast to our room. Come on.

Checkin was great, room was comfortable and clean. I parked in the hotel’s garage, which they list on their website for $16 per night. The billing for parking is run by an automated system called Metropolis. Metropolis billed me twice, $16.99 each, despite my following the hotel’s directions to select unlimited in and out when I pulled into the garage. Am now arguing with Metropolis to refund one of the charges. Good hotel, but points off for frustrating parking.

The breakfast was really good despite being staples! The eggs were fluffy and hot, with fresh blueberries.

We had to stay downtown for a week long event at IU. Location for this property is amazing and was very convenient. The hotel was older, and was not kept up well. Elevator buttons were missing/ broken. Our room door was coming off and was tricky to close. We stayed a week and we had to ask for cleaning services, They never came to the room. There property needs work.

Lo ved the breakfast choices
-
Breakfast is not that good as the photo I saw on the website.
-
Typical old downtown motel struggling to stay in business. Terribly over priced, customer service rude, rooms clean, breakfast below average. Expedia really screwed up our reservations and hotel did nothing to help out.
-
Friendly, helpful staff that really made us feel welcome. Rooms were generous size, clean and comfortable.
-
The location was perfect, we want to come back and walk the area! The first room we checked into the air was broken but they changed us rooms immediately even with being packed for a baseball team.
-
it was a place to stay We booked a double queen with a sofa pull out as there were 6 people in our group. The front desk checked us in. We got up to our room and it was a single queen with a pull out. 2 of my kids had to sleep on the floor. when the front desk was contacted, we were told that they determine who gets what rooms...even though I restated we were a party of 6 and that's why we booked. We could not change hotels as there were tornado warnings everywhere. Very disappointing!!!
