Economy Inn

This hotel is extremely outdated, and ran down. I guess it wouldn’t be terrible if you’re just passing through and need something better than a car to sleep in, however bed wasn’t much more comfortable. Room was dirty and unwelcoming. We got bit by what I’m assuming was mosquitoes. (Did check for bed bugs and no signs of them) stains on blankets, pillows and pillow cases. Stains and chipped paint on walls. Bathroom, I went and bought Lysol wipes before using the toilet or showering. The shower head was broken and only had pressure washer setting. The water smelled awful. The toilet leaked. It hot as crap mad the ac was on the its last leg and couldn’t cool down the room.

Nothing Property was very dirty. Room had stains on the mattresses on the walls. The chair had a heart shaped stain on it. There was bugs on the floor. The room smelled like smoke. Everything seemed like it was falling apart. We got put in a section behind abandoned buildings that was not safe at all. My son and I walked into the room. We stayed there about 10 minutes. I did not even wanna sit down couldn’t even go to the bathroom. It was so filthy and I turned around and did the key in and said I do not feel safe and we left. The pictures that you see online are nothing like the rooms. It is pretty bad when I stayed there for 10 minutes and I felt that unsafe and that unclean that I refuse to even sit down and stay. The $80 that I spent was worth leaving to feel safe and clean. We literally went across the road up the hill for the same price and had a much cleaner room with a pool.

Checking in and out was a breeze. Safe area.

Low Budget! If your looking for a cheap place to stay this is your spot.

Very clean. Thank you for a nice stay. No complaints at all. I have family that live in bluefield. We were in for a funeral. When I come to visit my family this is where I’ll be staying from now on.

The room was nice and clean, staff was great and the location was perfect.

The location was very sketchy and the tv only got 3 channels.

TV only worked on 4 channels. Room was clean but badly in need of renovation/repairs. Parking lot had a few very sketchy people hanging around late at night. There are better choices not too far away.

Easy check in and check out. Good rate. Helpful staff. Someone yelling down the hallway at 1:40 am. Smoke smell in hallways.
