We really enjoyed the hotel. The only thing was our AC was not blowing on high. It would only blow on low. The air was cool however. Good thing we brought two fans or we would’ve been really warm in there. It was not because of the hotel staff, it was because of the maintenance man for AC, not showing up ahead of time to fix the problem per staff.

It was a very quiet location, almost no road noise! The breakfast was good, wide selection and a very attentive and friendly hostess. The room was good sized and clean, bath was large size, easily accessible. Plenty of parking and easy access to the interstate. The personnel at the front desk were friendly and helpful. The bed could have been a little softer, but not too bad as compared to other similar places we have stayed.

Admittedly, weather was terrible, but parking lot was so flooded that I would have had to remove my canvas shoes and socks to reach my car in 3-4 inches of water. Staff st the front desk were extremely helpful. Would definitely stay there again.

The front check-in lady was slow (kept blaming the computer system). She simply seemed as if she did not want to be there. The juice machine was out of order for breakfast and they did not offer anything to replace it for the kids (I'm not giving coffee to my 10 year-old). The hotel was good. The beds were comfortable and the room was good.

Overall the hotel was clean. Manager was super friendly and helpful. The bedding was worn out. Literally the comforter was falling apart. There was a hole in the pillowcase. The bathroom door was warped at the bottom and curling inwards at the bottom. The room was a suite. Please mount the tv on a swivel so the tv can be adjusted to different viewing areas. Moisture is noticeable in the room and hallways.

The breakfast was amazing, especially Ms Sue. She was so nice and so accommodating.It really felt like you were at home. The room was spacious and I had a pretty good view. The area is very walkable, lots of shops and food places plus an HEB right behind the hotel for groceries , etc. The restroom was a bit dated and kind of falling apart. Also , the hallways were very dark , which seemed a little spooky.

A scorpion appeared in the bathroom. The staff helped me changed my room, which is good. But my sleep was interrupted and had a generally horrible night. I am very tired the next day, and the staff did not provide any compensation at all.
