Owners very nice and breakfast was great.

Enjoyed my stay! Karen and Steve are wonderful hosts! She I had a wedding nearby I wanted to pamper myself. I was indeed pampered by a wonderful breakfast, entertainment, and wonderful conversation. I highly recommend staying here.

Steve and Karen are wonderful hosts. They are considerate and kind. Breakfast was delicious. We were serenaded with Steve on the fiddle and Karen on the washboard. Great fun. Enjoyable visit.

I loved the history of the house. The amazing restoration that the owners did was truly a work of art. The owners were outstanding hosts meeting all needs and so friendly. Breakfast was delicious. The location was so convienent to downtown and the trades day we went to. Could not find any faults and definitely will return and recommend to others.

Property around house beautifully landscaped gardens with gazebo and numerous outdoor sitting areas. Antique Victorian bed and breakfast mansion decorated with first homeowners’ possessions along with many one-of-a kind 19th century pieces. Softest beds, delicious meals and many stories shared by owners about the life of this grand estate.

Thank you, Steven, for sharing your experiences in developing Carleton Bed and Breakfast. The hospitality and décor in the Bernice room were notable. We appreciate the breakfast made and served by Karen, who considered our food allergies and intolerances. We hope to return during future road trips and will be following your updates on Facebook. There was nothing not to like. Steven and Karen performed an incredible transformation of this house into a B&B.

What an experience. Step into the past and have an incredible adventure. Breakfast was fabulous accompanied by the host playing an original violin from the Carletons. And his precious wife playing a wash board that can make amazing music. The house is full of collections don't be taken back by it all but immerse yourself in all the collections especially the doll house. This was a real adventure. Not what I expected..i.e. just a place to sleep, but a totally great entertaining time. I LOVED IT!!!
