Harbor House Inn

I loved that the inn was so convenient and very clean. The breakfast was the best homemade breakfast that I ever had at an inn. The Inn owner is very sweet and accommodating. I loved the bedroom but the bathroom was very small if you are tall or on the larger size. Just ask which room before you book since I thought I was getting another room with a balcony but since I asked for a king bed, that didn't come with a balcony.

Lovely inn with gracious sitting areas, and our room was well-appointed and comfortable. The breakfasts were exceptional, and we loved dining on the large wraparound porch which also offered a peaceful spot for unwinding after a day of sight-seeing. The location is great for walking into town as well as a base for exploring the southern coastal area. The innkeeper is charming and very knowledgeable about the area. We will definitely stay here on return trips!

The place was clean, the location was great and the host was friendly. The host made great breakfast and served it on the deck. We asked to refrigerate something and the host brought up a mini fridge! Everything was great. The shower was pretty small so if you're a larger person it'll be a little tight but certainly manageable.

Steps from parking area to room were slippery, especially in the rain. Could use non-slip strips on edges of steps.

We had a very nice stay at Harbor House Inn. The inn is a lovely, historic house; it is beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. It is located only a short walk from the downtown shops/restaurants and harbor areas of Boothbay Harbor. (As noted in other reviews, the walk is a little steep but very manageable.) Our host, Kristie, was very welcoming and provided lots of information about things to do. We were only there for two nights—we will need to return to see more of this beautiful area. We had a boat trip scheduled on our last morning there. Kristie allowed us to leave our car at the inn until our return shortly after lunch. A tasty breakfast was served every morning between 8:00 and 9:00 a.m. Kristie happily accommodated my sensitivity to wheat. It was much appreciated. We made our reservation very close to our stay, so we were in one of the smaller rooms. It was comfortable for our two nights. As noted in other reviews, the shower stall is very small. We made it work. If we are able to return in the future, we would try for one of the larger rooms. On the upside, the smaller room gave us the incentive to enjoy relaxing in the common areas both outside on the lovely deck and inside in the sitting/parlor area.

Conveniently located to downtown Booth Bay. Property was well kept, clean, and comfortable……beautiful stately Victorian.

Everything Nothing everything was great

Because it was offseason we were upgraded to a beautiful suite. Very comfortable and well appointed. In season we would have had a full breakfast in the dining area which was beautiful.

The location was great for us since we love to walk and could walk to anything in the town. There was plenty of parking on the property, and it was easy to drive to places we wanted to visit. Just a suggestion would be to try to have at least one chair in each room. Makes it easier to put on shoes, etc.

We had to make our own since no staff was there to provide it!!! Food was provided but not much of a choice!!! Someone to talk to about there area.

The breakfasts Christy served were outstanding! Delicious with fresh ingredients. We stayed in the #8 Seaside Cottage. It was very comfortable and pristine as far as cleanliness. The picture is from our private deck. The lower deck that you see is one of the breakfast areas. The location of the Harbor House Inn is excellent. Very easy walk into town and to restaurants. Our host was very knowledgable about the entire area, and offered many suggestions as to areas of interest. We loved our stay, and would book here again. The shower was a little small. This was fine for us, but might be a little tight for larger people.

Kristie made our stay very nice. I don't know when I've had a better breakfast. Her blueberry pancakes are top notch. She is a very good resource of local knowledge and was a pleasure to talk to. We will be back.

there is only one issue.. if you have mobility problems there is a steep staircase but I WAS ABLE TO MANAGE with a recent double hip replacement.

It is a beautiful house full of antiques and beautifully decorated. The innkeeper was wonderful and made sure we had everything we needed. We liked everything. We had no complaints
