Checkout process subpar - hotel was closed for 30 mins when I got there at 9. Rooms need to be better maintained

Staff was amazing, extremely welcoming, friendly and helpful! Our room was nice but smelled like chlorine because we were right next to the hot tub room but once the a/c was on the smell went away. Tap/faucet needs to be secured again. Bed was super comfy and the location is just perfect! Thank you

The location is great, and the staff is very friendly, but the place is run down and disappointing overall. I'm a bit surprised at the good reviews.

But I have noticed the rooms getting a little more run down each year. Also, the last two times I’ve been there, they have no in-room coffee. Their special pour-over coffee packs seem to be hard to keep in stock. Lastly, I’ve never gotten used to the lack of a mini fridge. I always forget that’s a thing until I want to keep something cold - like a leftover from a restaurant or drinks. My complaints are small , but it’s not a cheap place to stay, so I wish those little things were not noticed at all.

Room was old and dimly light but clean with a comfortable bed and a fresh layer of paint. The door to the bathroom did not fully shut and the shower tub looked like it was 30+ years old. Not a 4 star hotel. Maybe a 2.5 or 3 at best.

The lock was broken and I let Jonathan at the front desk know. It was immediately fixed. As a female traveling, this gave me peace of mind.

We loved staying at Basecamp Boulder! We were able to check in early and get right in the hot tub. Easy walk to the center of downtown and beautiful surroundings. The only downside was that we only stayed one night!! Next time we’ll stay longer. :)

Stay far away from this place! Although the website and marketing materials are aesthetically inviting. The actual hotel is rundown and poorly maintained. Shortly after arrival we realized that our hotel door would not latch, and anyone could simply push it open. We had an early appointment that next morning so we didn't have a choice but to leave our room unlocked because the office staff doesn't even show up until 8 am. When we got back to the hotel, thankfully our belongings were still in the room. We were ready to walk out and demand our money back, but instead they moved us to another room and offered us a "discount". The second room wasn't any better, no hot water for showers, and good luck getting ice after 10 pm or before 8 am. The room with the ice machine is locked with no access. I'm sorry to say this, but this place should be shutdown.

Great location, reasonable price and awesome people. Highly recommend.

Property was absolutely fabulous! The staff was very nice and accommodating.

The lighting in room 210 was really bad. Could not read in the bed. They need to trim the bush on the street so you can exit the driveway without mishap.

Staff members helpful, knowledgeable and sweet. The beds and pillows were comfortable. Location was good, with a short drive to Pearl St Facilities in incredibly poor condition. The management has utilized beautiful marketing and social media for this place, with a few "mountains are calling" pictures in the rooms. The reality, is that this is a very tired old motel, with a lipstick renovation that has not been maintained. We stay in many of these converted motels, that entrepreneurs fix and I feel bad trashing a small business, but at $250/night, they really need to be investing more into the property. - Common: Hallway walls and doors covered in scratches & dirt. Hallway floors absolutely filthy. Common deck area with all it's paint chipped. Common climbing room had no AC, so it was boiling hot most of the day/nights. Washer/dryers all out of service, with sign that looked to be 4-5 months old indicating maintenance would "repair shortly" In room: Bathroom faucet leaked, flooding the countertop upon each use. In the tub, the tub spout dumped water, even when you were showering. The tub had smudged cracked caulking everywhere that was failing. The toilet had been replaced, but whomever did it left the original caulking smeared all over the flooring, and when it was reset, it was angled, making it impossible to pull toilet paper from the holder.

One of the best places I’ve stayed. Mattress was absolutely amazing.

We told them that we'd need there around 4 to check in. The room wasn't available until 7pm.
