We stayed at Chataqua Lodge for two nights for my mom's 72nd birthday, and we had a wonderful time! The staff had left a little goodie bag and happy birthday card for my mom when we first arrived, which we so appreciated to make the stay a little more special! Most of our time was spent out on the screened in porch. The porch was probably the best part of the cottage. And we all just loved the history of the lodge and surrounding area. The whole area was a little haven in the middle of Boulder. There wasn't much we didn't like. The beds are definitely pretty cozy for two people, but I understand that it's an old building and there's not much that can be done about this because bigger beds wouldn't fit. The only thing I wish the front desk person had mentioned when we checked in was that we could use our room keys for a 10% discount at the dining hall. While the room key had it written in big letters on it, I honestly didn't pay attention, and realized only after we'd gone to the Chataqua Dining Hall for my mom's birthday dinner that we could have gotten 10% off our meal since we were staying at the lodge.

Rustic vibe, clean, cozy cottages with screened porch and amazing views of the Flatirons. Great location in the park, hiking trails less than 40 seconds away (and probably 20+ accessible within 10-15 minute walk). Staff very friendly and helpful, and nice restaurant and bar!

The location of these cottages is incredible. Staying in such an idyllic setting was unbelievable and the access to such great trails was so nice. We had plenty of space in our cottage. We loved spending time outside in the screened porch. We also loved getting a latte at the cafe every morning.

Cabins had all the amenities you need, nice screened in porch, beds were comfortable, very clean and close to everything in Boulder.

Such an amazing place- love the access to general store, dining hall, playground, trails. The staff was so kind. My only complaint is the parking was stressful, very tight and limited. And it seemed like staff member cars would park in front of our cabin during the day and I couldn’t find a spot.

Peaceful and feels so delightfully remote from downtown though only 1/2 mile away. At the base of mt Chautauqua … only challenge is parking

We loved our stay! The cabin was clean and conveniently located. Amazing views of the flat irons and delicious meals at the Chautauqua Dining Hall. We will be back!

Delightful stay at Chatauqua. Room was basic with a fun, retro feel and a nice kitchenette. Very clean. The surrounding beauty and history of Chatauqua makes for a perfect, relaxing setting. The food at the restaurant (both dinner and breakfast) was also great.

Beautifully charming place to stay. Favorite on the whole trip. Close to town and a fabulous view above town as well.
