Super 8 by Wyndham Bowling Green North

We enjoyed it being close to everything The room we stayed in had bad mold in the bathtub. It smelled really bad. We pulled back the bedsheets and there was a cockroach in the bed. The sink was broken and there was dust on all of the countertops and the tv. We asked to be moved they moved our rooms to a better room.

It was advertised to have a pool and hot tub and one arrived. It was actually closed and been closed for months.

Sink was cracked. Drain cover for shower came off. Not fastened at all. Toiet leaked overnight giving me wet feet when using it in the morning. I will not return.

Bugs in the room

Rooms are pretty clean. But breakfast is definitely lacking. There is a Hardee’s next door and I just walked there

Brilliant location for the corvette museum was just a short walk down the road..also close to the factory. Young boy on reception checking us in his English was not great. Couldn't explain how the laundry worked and didn't sell laundry powder or did but he didn't understand me..Couldn't use the pool if we had known not able to use would have booked somewhere else.

Toilet in the first room didn’t work and tub was not clean. Second room the toilet worked but the bathroom was not clean.

Woman at front desk seemed more interested in what was on her computer than checking us in. T.V. needed resetting, was on antenna, not cable. Then wanted auto rescan. Was not listed in the menu, so no T. V. for the evening. Remote batteries held in with paper tape. Tea bags at breakfast would be nice. Pool out of service.

Location. The ac was not on in the room or on the 3rd floor. Took over 6 hours for the room to be somewhat comfortable because when we got to our room the ac was off on a 100 degree day. The pool and the hot tub were down. We had to ask for regular coffee because only they only stocked the decaffeinated coffee in our room. The floors on the 3rd floor were warped and bumpy. The elevator was extremely slow and noisy like it would break at any moment so we used the stairs when we could but going down the stairs on the 2nd floor right before the first step down was a good size dip in the floor where we almost tripped and fell down the stairs. The beds were also hard, making sleeping very uncomfortable.

The distance from our motel to the race track The pool or the hot tub was not open, the only 2 vending machines were both out of order, the outlets in the room were hanging off the wall, the shower head came down and hit me in the head, the focet was broken & could spin all the way around, the carpet was damp, the refrigerator wouldn't keep things cold, the room was nothing like the pictures, the staff wasn't friendly, they didn't want to switch us rooms, and the remote to the TV had tape over the back and didn't work half the time and slso the windows wouldn't lock so our window stayed open and we were on the 1,st floor.

This place does not get cleaned. I had make up on my pillow case when I walked into my room. The fridge had something spilled in it. Bathroom door didnt latch or lock. The place is worn and old. Elevator stinks bad. You get the vibe from the staff that they could care less and are just there to collect a pay check.

This is a standard 2 star hotel. The area is quite safe, and it was a clean bed and place to stop for the night. However I wouldn't brag much above that. The rooms smell incredlby musty and moldy (which clears once the extremely loud AC has been on for a while). The carpet is sticky and has stains. The walls are damaged from years of use, wallpaper peeeling, doors slam hard, weeds all around, breakfast consists of a few highly processed pasteries (juice machine and waffle maker were both down), and the pool is not open (there are zero amenities) ... you get the idea. However the bathroom was wiped down well, shower worked, clean sheets, and the TV worked. That's what you get for this price point and it did the job. It's a safe area and that was important to us.

Glad to have the waffle maker available for breakfast, also used the fridge and microwave in the room. I was thankful for the A/C while it was so hot outside the whole time I was there. This location has to be the closest hotel to the National Corvette Museum. Bed was not very comfortable, for me. Other than the bed, there was only 1 plastic chair to sit on, but since I was traveling solo this was fine. Bath tub faucet was a challenge to adjust and there was a small piece of drywall missing in the bathroom.

I redeemed some key cash for the room, so my expectations were not high. I just needed a good night’s sleep and a quick breakfast with cereal, and the motel delivered.

The pool was closed I feel I should have gotten a discount.
