Comfort Suites Airport - University

Staff was friendly and helpful. Told us that we could swim at sister hotel since the pool and hot tub were under construction. The pool was under construction. coffee pots were empty multiple times when we went to get coffee. There were a few small prices of trash on the floor of the hotel room when we walked in. The hot water in the shower was awful and the 1/2 open shower was odd

Friendly staff. Floors throughout were dirty; both in the room and common areas. Pillows were really small.

Exceptional

The front desk never gave me a call back about the hot water, for paying 300$ for a room I should expect at least some hot water. The carpets in the hallway are filthy like they haven't been shampooed in years, the staff are a little off at the front desk like they just don't seem to care about there job.

Th unit was spacious. Did not smell good. Smelled like old wet carpet. Everything felt dingy. Housekeeping entered room at 9 am and 10 am on day of check out. Check out is noon. Very upsetting. Only coffee and tea for drinks at free breakfast. Free breakfast was on the minimal side for typical free breakfast.

Modern, clean, functional rooms. Modern facilities. Good location. Good coffee. The use of disposable plates, cups and utensils at breakfast creates a lot of waste that damages the environment. The quality of the breakfast food was mediocre.

Pool was closed- disappointing as that’s why we selected the hotel. Laundry room had issues- poor ventilation and the dryer would quit when overheated. Staff was primarily “temp” and while friendly, was an odd image to project for a reputable business.

Breakfast choices, no Fruits, Juice machine was out of order and Oatmael was cold. Need person all the time in Breakfast area to help.

It was adequate for a budget hotel. The lobby was dirty and the front desk guy was very uninterested and unhelpful. The room was fine until we tried using things. The shower head was completely broken and barely useable. The blinds didn’t close all the way so we had the Costco sign lighting up our room all night. Finally, the whole reason we picked this hotel was so our kids could swim, but the pool and hot tub was closed for maintenance. Apparently the front desk guy was supposed to tell us we could use the sister hotels pool across the street but he didn’t. We should’ve booked somewhere else.

I like the convenience of the location Our first room we got checked into had blood on the comforter, the person at the front desk came up to confirm and then moved us into a different room. Honestly it wasn't much better, I checked the bed which had long black hair in it, which we all have short blonde or light brown hair. Then I went to plug my phone into the wall outlet and there was throw up on the outlet next to the bed, I went to the other side where there was stuff on the wall and a pill on the floor. After going into the bathroom I saw they didn't wipe the shower which had a line of dirt and hair on the ridge and mold in 2 places of the shower, there was also mold inside the bowl of the toilet that could be seen just standing there looking inside. There was also hair and dirt under the sink and what looked to be boogers on the wall by the mirror. I do want to add that they didn't have a very good breakfast they had watery pancake mix and the eggs and sausage that were just covered with paper towels and that's was about the only thing they had, the juice machine was out of order and so was the pool, I wish they would tell you before you check in.. I did talk to the morning manager at the front desk which I haven't heard anything more from. After paying close to $300 for the night I don't think I'll ever stay here again.

Nothing worked at this hotel. The TV didn't work. The refrigerator didn't work. The electrical outlets by the bed didn't work. The juice machine at breakfast didn't work, and breakfast was awful. The pool was closed. We received no maid service, and the night person behind the desk couldn't help us with anything. One good thing: they let us check out early so we could find a different hotel.

My husband and I were traveling a long distance and late in the night. We reserved a room approximately 10PM and advised in the messages to the property that our arrival would be about 3AM. When we arrived, we expected a quick check in, however, were told our reservation was marked off as a no show and that their " nightly audit " was done and had to no show us in order to proceed. The counter agent made several phone calls without success to the reception desk manager and then proceeded to tell us that we were so late so they gave us " an hour" and no message had come over from us. I asked why they didn't try calling our phone number to check as other properties had done for me before. We received our room, which was sadly in poor shape. The bathroom shower pan was stained black. The bathroom door was water damaged and pealing and cracked all across the bottom. We placed the do not disturb on the door and was awakened the next morning at 9am by housekeeping knocking on the door AFTER we asked the front desk when we arrived, to please not call us until we came to the desk in the morning to check out. When checking out, I wasn't even able to open the conversation to explain to the morning receptionist without them stopping me in mid sentence and explaining that " if you remember" our reservation had to be remade due to our late arrival. It was a very poor experience and my hope is that the staff is able to get more training for situations like ours and to avoid discussing their internal processes with the customers, and instead, just take care of them without it appearing that the guest was at fault. Customer Service is just as important as the quality and cleanliness of the room.

The room was clean and comfortable. The young man at the desk left something to be desired. Went to breakfast at 8:15 and they were out of sausage gravy, the attendant acted like she didn’t speak English when asked about putting out more, no syrup for the waffles, and the juice machine was out of order. The manager came and spoke to the attendant (in English) as we were leaving, and she put out more gravy after shaking her head no to us, and he started looking for syrup. There were many unhappy breakfast eaters at this time.

Proximity to airport & restaurants Mix up when checking in with reservations which were made weeks in advance & then double charged on my creditcard & curb in front went from level to rounded which was very hard to see because cement was not colored where curb changed. I rolled my ankle on it & fell when bringing luggage in.

Comfortable clean room with couch area Location description says comfort suites airport, but the location is nowhere near the airport and they don't have shuttle service to the airport. We booked based on this description so we were very disappointed when we actually arrived.
