Chateau On The Lake Resort Spa and Convention Center

The room was clean, plenty of amenities and the bed was comfortable. Would definitely go again!

Great property, but needs major updating!

Our room did not have a good view of the lake. The pool was overrun with screaming children. Food was good but expensive. We had to pay for parking in addition to the other charges. Overall, not good value.

Great view, our room was a bit dusty and I’m guessing the guest before us spent time on the balcony and left their trash there. It’s time for an upgrade. Staff was okay.

Some amenities were not available which was disappointing. The resort is also a little dated. The staff was great though and the view was nice.

Requested feed back on an issue and it's been five days since we left.

I was set off immediately after arriving with all of the signs demanding you pay for parking. This didn’t used to be a thing. Very greedy and no other options. Room was on par with something like a Holiday Inn Express. Not a good value here. On checkout, I wasn’t even asked how my stay was. Won’t be switching from Big Cedar anytime soon.

We had a great time. We docked our boat at the marina and played on the water during the day then enjoyed the hotel in the evening! Rooms were clean and staff was very friendly!

The property is well cared for, the staff very helpful and polite. The room was very comfortable and the view from the balcony was exquisite! A great place to stay!!

Hospitality was hit and miss

Beautiful setting over looking the lake, needs updates over all bed was comfortable I guess I expected nicer for the price of the stay. Branson was just not as impressive as a whole. Very pricey

The hotel is amazing! The views of the lake are beautiful. It’s a classy hotel with a professional staff. The only complaint that I have is the constant 80’s music being played throughout the hotel. The music doesn’t match the class or vibe of this hotel. 80’s rock, pop culture music made the place feel like a cheaper brand and was out of place for this property.

Great place to stay, room was great, has a beautiful lake view. Even had a fireworks show did not know was going to happen and a great view of it from our room. Very clean.

We left one day and when we got back the cleaning staff had left our door open. I reported it to the front desk.

They even have a husband’s relaxing room while waiting. Sitting out on the porch with a beverage, watching the sunset over the lake was magical!!

The view of Table Rock Lake can’t be beat! The atrium area inside the hotel to all the rooms makes the accommodations spacious and beautiful. It is really great! Convenient but away from the crowds.

Signs of neglect and decay are clearly visible particularly in the swimming pool and in the rooms As is common with takeovers and buyouts, the new owners are more interested in short term pecuniary gain than long term viability.

My favorite hotel is turning into a cash cow. Pool area losing amenities it used to have. Lack of staff, some amenities shut down unexpectedly. There are some really friendly staff but they can only do so much. I felt they were also crying for help. Therefore, I have to assume is poor management. I booked through hotels.com and would not let me change booking so I would not book through hotels.com for this particular hotel. I would book directly. Hotels.com states that you can change booking but do not tell you "only under certain circumstances. Chateau also added $15-$20 mandatory nightly parking fees which Hotels.com did not list as a fee so that was a nice surprise. Beds super comfortable and food was really good.

Hotel is neat with the river running through it. The room was ok. Everything seems kind of dated. I had a couple of questions for the staff about the fireworks that night and ordering food by the pool and no one really had solid answers. I ended up waiting a long time for food, but went back and forth between the food truck out by the pool area and inside because different staff members told me different things on how I would get it. We went with our two young girls and were excited about watching a kid movie in their little theater, but they weren't playing anything age appropriate so that was a bummer. All in all it was just ok. Thankfully the indoor pool ended up not having really anyone there so we could enjoy ourselves a little more than the outdoor pool that was really busy, loud, and kind of dirty. I know it was a holiday weekend, but it the amount of food options and things available were mediocre.

Food was good. Staff were friendly. Close to lake. We have stayed there a few times but probably for the cost change our next hotel in Branson.
