Oof. The photos make it look much nicer than it is. Despite a very friendly front desk, we had to bail on this booking (they would not refund our booking fee) and go somewhere else. First room smelled like cigarette smoke. 2nd room not as bad, but was adjacent to a chain smoker and the a/c pulls air from outside, so smoke in the room. Outdated, small dingy bathroom, linens were heavily used and smelled musty. Pool was broken so we were asked to go to a neighboring hotel to use theirs?? And that pool was just nasty. Not a good experience for us.

Room was decently cleaned but the room smelled like cigarettes and the pool was not open.

    Good

I gave you all 3 stars because the whole time we stay there we didn’t have anyone come change our trash or give us clean towels

The pictures don’t really look like the place now. Our room was supposed to be non smoking, but it had a really bad smokers smell that flared up my asthma. The breakfast was not exactly what I was thinking. It was just some bagels/toast and cereal and oatmeal, and biscuits and gravy. The pool was drained and dirty and not useable. The one good thing is that the AC did work well, so we were able to stay cool.

The pool was one thing I looked forward to, it was drained!!! The staff said we could use the pool next door, when we went to use it there was signs all around the pool stating out of order. Very unhappy about that!!! The last 2 days of our stay we couldn't use the pool. This should of been posted when we rented our room.

Pool was drained so it couldn’t be used

Rooms were a little outdated but clean and accommodating. We had to go next door for the pool which wasn't much inconvenience. The breakfast items were the only thing that was not satisfactory. Not much choice. No hospitality. A hot tub would have been nice but not necessary.

Room was clean, air conditioning was in great working order. Staff very friendly

Wouldn't stay here again. Pool was broke, they said we could use the motels next door. Had a leaking ac, took 2 days to fix. Didn't need cleaning service first 2 days, 2nd 2 days they didn't clean had to go retrieve our own towels, rags, toilet paper. Shower rod was messed up so curtain wouldn't stay closed, toilet flushes very slow, mattress cover was stained and nasty looking. Breakfast is only biscuits and gravy in crockpots ( not much put out) bread, bagels, cereal & a few pieces of fruit. No attendant after 9 so you will have to check in at the Angel Inn lobby. If you are only going to sleep there one night it might be ok. If you want to enjoy your stay in the room at all, I would pass.

No Toilet paper in the room. Sink was messed up sprayed water everywhere. One bed had pee stains all over it and black pubic hair on everything the pillows toilet seat. Main lights by bed didnt work. No breakfast

This is a five-star review of a one-star hotel. I'm not reviewing the Ritz-Carton, this is an Econolodge. I needed a clean, safe, comfortable hotel room for a few of nights until my house was ready. I got all of that for a great price. No frills, just a safe place to stay with really lovely people who will go out of their way to do what they can to make your stay pleasant. What more could you ask for at $50ish/night?

  • Engine customer Jul 2026

Was extremely dirty and they did not replace the bedsheets on one of the beds just put a cover back over it had black dog hair and dirty footprints all over the sheets from a dog and the moment we walked into the room, the dog odor was extremely strong. I have gone to a lot of hotels in my life and this was the dirtiest stinkiest one I have ever been in and they do not care if you have a do not disturb sign on the door while I was in the room the door started to open and then he flipped the lever back and opened it all the way, and when I walked up to the door, he started knocking as if I hadn’t noticed he had already opened the door he did not care that I had a do not disturb sign on the door! I decided that night to pack my stuff and get out.

The pool didn’t work but they did let us swim next door. I also found out the room we got on the top floor is way out dated compared to bottom floor. The tv was half the size on top and the air conditioner was older than me. Overall not bad

Pool was out of order. Room was alright though

We were very happy with our stay 4th of July weekend. Breakfast, maintenance & staff were very helpful & friendly. We will stay again.

On your picks of the motel you said the had a hot tub but they said they have never had a hot tub
