Howard Johnson by Wyndham Branson Theatre District

Location was on point. Everything else was not good. The staff seemed inattentive. The hallways were smelly with trash everywhere. Appeared that riff Raff was living there and were under the influence. People were working on their broke down cars in the parking lot. Was told the pool was open although lights were not turned on after dark on a Saturday night. Staff only seemed concerned that we had a card on file which had already been done. The bathtub was shower only. Wasn't able to plug the tub at all. The carpet was dated and dirty. Doesn't seem like it has been shampooed in years. TV had no premium channels. Basic cable only. TV volume had to be maxed out for you to hear it at a normal volume. Example tv was on 100, volume was like at a 20.

I'm sorry I didn't like anything about it been driving several hours to get to our room we have no remote for a TV we have no trash cans for our trash we have no towels to take a shower with We stayed 4 days 3 nights not one time did I see a housekeeper come to my room did not bring me nothing didn't ask if I need anything I even went to the front desk and that's very nicely for help she brought me two floor bath mat towels to hand towels and one more squat that wasn't much help when you have two people

The location wad good and staff was kind property was run down . Room had poor workmanship in attempted upgrade. The room was also inconvenient to get to. We had to go through another bldg to cross over to get to it and there were stairs to go up, pulling around luggage, no elevator.

Rooms were nice n clean. Bed was comfy and a great breakfast! Especially for the price!

The lobby was ok, but the floor was sticky. Once we checked in, we went to the entrance closest to our room, and both doors going in were propped open with rocks. The hallways were dirty, and smelled bad. We entered our room, and it was awful! It was visibly dirty, and run down. I pulled the sheets back to check the bed, and they were obviously dirty, it was honestly so dirty it made my skin crawl! We returned to the front desk, and told the staff that the room was so disgusting we couldn't stay there. They were very understanding and promptly credited my account. I've never reviewed a hotel before, but this place was so bad I felt I needed to warn people!

I can’t say anything good about it. This is a long stay facility with old outdated everything not clean at all, bad smells stains in the flooring and everything needs to be updated and better maintained. Long term live in guests everywhere smoking weed, just not somewhere I would ever want to stay. The dog and cat hair was everywhere.

Passable

The room reeked of marijuana. The floor had stains in it, the bedding had cigarette burn/holes on it. There were cigarette ashes in the bathroom.

Big rooms Nasty carpet, smoking people standing at every doorway. Dirt floors in hallways. Outside looked like a homeless camp.

Our room was very clean. Apparently several people live at this hotel, and they roam around all hours of the night and don't know how to stay quiet. (dogs barking, doors slamming, people talking). The smell of marijuana was so strong on the first floor near the ice machine, you could smell it every time we went up the stairwell to the second floor.

Nothing! It was filthy they used duct tape to take pillsberry boxes to the ac unit sheets were dirty bugs smoothed into the bathroom floor the door was so dirty it was black and the door was teal! I have stayed at some cheap places but this was just down right disgusting and should be looked into! There was people fighting and yelling in the parking lot they had nothing but long term stays and it was just ew

Definitely not an ideal place to stay. That part of Branson is usually pretty nice but the motel had many questionable things about it. The staff was reluctant to help, the breakfast was terrible and there were vehicles in the parking lot held together by strings. We wondered if the motel was participating a federal program for the homeless, which should have been revealed to us prior to reserving the room. We will never stay there again.
