Four Points by Sheraton Buffalo Grove

The room was a very good size! More than enough for 4 people. Hotel was clean and quiet for as large as it was :)

Excellent value. Clean, updated, well appointed hotel at a great price. Expansive lobby and plenty of ammenities. We had to leave too early to try the breakfast, so I can't speak to that. But room was large and roomy, outfitted with microwave and fridge. Will stay again in a heartbeat!

Awful - we checked out a day early because it was so bad

Location, cleanliness, facilities and staff Breakfast was not the greatest. Eggs are barely edible. Lighting is very limited.

The hotel itself was fine, and the room was comfortable. Some of the front desk and breakfast area staff were very kind, especially those working on the weekends; however, the ones working from Monday to Friday were a bit rude and impolite.We had an issue regarding breakfast. My booking included breakfast for my entire family—we were 7 in total—but when we checked in, we were told that we only had 4 breakfasts included and that the others had to pay. They claimed we were only entitled to two breakfasts per room (we rented 2 rooms) because that's what was covered by the Booking app, of which I am a member, and that the remaining people had to pay. In the end, during check-out, they told me I wouldn't be charged for the breakfasts paid with a credit card, but they couldn't refund the money for the ones paid in cash.Also, one day while we were having breakfast, an older, tall, and heavy-set employee—I don't recall his name—approached us to say that my daughter had already taken scrambled eggs and couldn't order an omelet as well, which makes no sense since it's supposed to be a buffet.Ultimately, I feel those specific issues were a bit unpleasant, but everything else was fine, and the overall stay was good. Service was ok, room was kinda clean, pool was waaaaay too cold. The people who live there banging on their room door at night and the pool is NOT heated.

Size of rooms, swimmingpool, breakfast, location nearby a big park and leisure area, some members of a personnel Some waiters during breakfast heavliy insisted on tips, the rules on swimmingpool were not followed by some quests with no reaction from the personnel

For the price, it was an excellent choice. The room was clean but you could see signs of aging and wear. The layout of the hotel was very confusing and it took us 10 minutes of circling the second floor to find it. The kids loved the pool and it seemed clean and well maintained. Overall it was a good experience and I’d stay there again.
