Location is great however the breakfast could have just been continental for best value

The location was convenient When it is said to be queen delux it wasn’t

It looked like at one time it might have been a decent hotel. It is totally run down, from the outside the grass wasn’t cut and weeds growing up through the cracks in the sidewalks, paint peeling on all the wood. There’s a side door that no longer opens that is so rotten that you can push your finger through it. When you walk down the halls there’s water damage on the ceiling and walls with some wallpaper peeling off and mold. There’s bums sleeping in cars in the parking lot. There is a white Nissan with flat tires that looks its been sitting there for years and an older lady is living in the car. The worst part was on the second day of my five night stay I woke up and went down to the lobby to get some coffee and when I got back I looked down at the bed and there was a dead cockroach right near the pillow. I must’ve rolled over on it then I freaked out and started searching the whole room with the flashlight on my phone. I found another one that was still alive and took pictures of them. I went back down to the front desk and showed them to the lady at the front desk and she said will you be checking out then? Like I was actually going to stay there COME ON. Then she said I would have to call the manager if I wanted to get any kind of refund. So I was calling for a week and he won’t answer or return my calls. All the other hotels in the area were booked and I had to drive from Buffalo grove to Harvard to stay at another dump for a night

Exceptional pool - great for adults to swim laps!

Hotel is very in need of a makeover. Peeling paint, stains in carpet, crumbled concrete, water marks on ceiling were just a few. Lobby was nice, front desk staff was very pleasant. Housekeeping was loud everyday yelling to each other down the hall. Overall it was ok, as it was near where I had to be, but not up to par with the Four Points Sheraton name by far!

Had an issue with Expedia checking in but Rose at the front desk was excellent. Rooms are very clean and comfortable. Large indoor pool and fitness room. There is also a nice paved trail that starts across the street from the hotel and goes about a mile down the road. Would definitely stay there again in the future.

The room was clean and comfortable, staff friendly and helpful. The pool was a bit too cold for us which was surprising given how hot the weather was that weekend. Overall, very comfortable and conveniently located place.

staff was helpful

The room was clean, the staff was friendly, and the breakfast was good. We had a pleasant stay. Nothing, everything was good

I was disappointed by the breakfast, which you have to pay $15 per person for. It was almost identical to the free breakfast we have had at most other hotels: waffles, cereal, scrambled eggs, beef patties, yogurt, apples, stuff like that. The "cooked to order" presumably meant you could get mushrooms in your scrambled eggs? None of us wanted more than the basics. With 6 people, the breakfast ended up at around $100 including tax, which was ridiculous. The rooms were fine, the WiFi worked great, the pool was good for a hotel pool. The layout of the hotel was very confusing, we kept getting lost. Recommended, but don't do the breakfast unless you really want something special.
