Beautiful rooms

Clean room, comfortable bed

This property is close to restaurants and a grocery store, but is an older property. The room and beds were very good, but the bathroom needed an upgrade. Older sinks, showers and toliets.
-
Outdated but clean and well maintained. Very quiet, peaceful motel.
-
Nicely updated property and a good value

They added new lighting out front which helps. Room are clean and good A/C. Breakfast was lacking a bit. Most everything was out. Juice, syrup, eggs and potatoes were almost gone at 8 am.

This hotel is everything you could ever hope for… clean rooms, comfortable beds, great staff, easy parking, free internet, close to the highway, several dining options and a very good breakfast!! Highly recommended!!!!

Quiet and clean older motel. Beds were comfortable.

This stay exceeded my expectations. Sean was so friendly and accommodating when I arrived. The room was big and spacious. The A/C worked fantastic!!! Water pressure in shower was A+++!!!! I definitely will stay here again if I travel through Burlington.

Everything was great and staff. Better than the chain hotels.
-
The staff were very helpful. The room was much better than anticipated for the location and cost.

This is an older property that has been remodeled and is well maintained. They do not allow pets, which is a huge bonus for those with allergies (and those who don't appreciate the smell).
-
The staff were pleasant and helpful. They took care of my “special needs” with aplomb. The room was clean and nicely appointed for an older roadside motel.
-
They claimed it was nonsmoking but there were strong cigarette smoke smells so they probably didn’t changed the carpet when they remodeled it

Slept like a baby. Staff went above and beyond. Upgraded our room and we didn't even ask to be upgraded. It's an old motel that has been updated (mostly). Overall it was clean and comfortable and that's all we needed. There is a grocery store right next door if you need anything. And a coffee shop right across the street.

Quite nice for a roadside motel. Exceeded expectations. Clean and comfortable. Would stay again!

Excellent room.. staff and parking

I would not recommend the room to anyone.

This is a fine motel, perfect for those of us ending/preparing for a long haul east to west or vice versa on I-70. The beds were comfortable with nice bedding, the towels were thick and thirsty, the fridge was a larger unit than in most hotels in this price range, the TV was big! and the complementary breakfast was nice. We definitely paid more for less at other hotels on our trip than we did at Hotel Chaparral! The owners can take this property up a notch by offering streaming services you can sign in for on the TV.

Enjoyed our stay at The Chaparral. Room was large enough to accommodate our bags. Parking was right outside our door making it easy to carry bags in and out. Right next to a grocery store was super convenient.
