Before dawn we think maybe around 4:30 the fire alarm went off.

The first room wasn't as clean as it should have been. There was no problem switching rooms

When we arrived it was about 10:30 at night our first room smelled so bad we couldn't stay in it we asked if there was another room which the staff was very helpful with and got us another room. Unfortunately the second room the AC barely worked and went kicked on it was incredibly loud. Most likely the AC wasn't able to keep up so the whole room smelled damp as well. We would have gone somewhere else had there been any other options. The hot tub is also boarded over just as an FYI.

We stayed for 5 days, 6 nights, on a trip to visit family in the area. Our room was clean, and the towels were a good size and fluffy. The hot tub was out of service, but we enjoyed the pool daily. A nice variety of food for breakfast, including biscuits and gravy, sausage, and eggs. Pet friendly, there were several guests with dogs, with a good amount of grassy areas and safe walking paths. There were quite a few families with children staying, and they have connecting rooms which is great for families with more children, but our room was still very quiet, we couldn't hear noises from the hallway or other rooms. The staff were all polite and accommodating, and very patient with my daughter asking them all a million questions. We would definitely stay again.

The tub backed up during ing a shower. We were able to move to another room after that experience, however . Only bad experience was the plumbing problem.

Location was good, facility was nice, breakfast was good.

They said the room was done but we found someone ice cream cones in the fridge, the bathtub had lots of hair in it that was not ours, the shower cur6was really dirty and needed washed. We tried to turn on the TV. It didn't work, tried to call front desk to tell them, phone didn't work, toilet was broken and ran after flushing it (unless you jiggled the handle). Had to walk down to desk to tell them and they gave instructions on how to fix the TV and toilet issue. I cleaned the tub out and went to take a shower, only to find the soaps were all empty. (Glad we pack our own.. just in case). Breakfast.. went down it was a good assortment i put eggs on a plate and sausage.. only to come back and find ants on it they were on the counter but not in the actual food dishes. So not a good stay.. would recommend they look at these issues and hopefully they can get better reviews.

Nothing It wasn’t clean

Had to go down to desk to exchange towels after 4 days. Visited with front desk to hear "it is tough to get help in West Burlington".
-
Good breakfast (eggs, waffles, yogurt, fresh fruit) , room was clean, beds were comfy… served the purpose.
-
Rooms were dirty, items left over including medication from previous resident. The parking lot was a mess and filled with people doing drugs in their cars. Rooms looked nothing like the photos, sheets stained, beds were a mess, and shower had caulking coming apart and water everywhere

Breakfast could have been better.

Sausage links 2 mornings for breakfast Fresh made waffles Missing sausage breakfast on day 3 Had to ask for fresh towels on day 3 Low water pressure in shower

Staff were excellent! Needs some exterior repair! That makes a difference when people drive up though when you get inside, expectations are elevated!

I quite liked the pool, breakfast was good and lobby was clean The Hot Tub in the pool area was closed and that was one of the reasons I choose this hotel, the restroom in the pool area was gross, not clean at all. I paid 172.48 for a deluxe king suite and it was not clean, I found a taco bell packet under the bed, the jacuzzi was dirty, I had to clean it before I could use it, the mattress on the bed was worn out and had a significant dip on one side, the shampoo bottle in the shower was dirty, the counter in the bathroom wasn't clean, I requested extra pillows and a fan and was told they had no more pillows and no fan, the exterior was clean at the front desk entrance but the other entrance there was a beer bottle in the parking lot and cigarettes butts everywhere the picnic table by the grill was horrible, you couldn't sit on it cause it looked like it would fall apart, I was charged an extra 50.00 incase we damaged the room and had to report cigarettes burns on the side of the tub that were there before our stay so that we were not charged for it.

The beds where comfy. Needed clean sheets before using them. Receptionist Def hates his life. Always had to look for him. Had to clean our bathroom before use. Hot tub sealed off. At most they make beds between guest! Would not recommend this hotel. Everytime we were out if our rooms people where complaining about their rooms.
