The only suggestion I have is to keep the lobby bar open past 10pm on weeknights...seems a bit too early to close:)

Loved this hotel! Lived the bike rental and the restaurant next door is one of the bests farm to tables in the US

Real pros. Service service service Location

The rooms are super comfortable, the decor is lovely. Beds are great. I LOVED the coffee (etc) station at the end of the hallway. Every hotel should have these. It was such a great way to start the day. The hotel also left real (pottery) coffee mugs in your room to use! The view from the room was terrible. I think we technically had a partial/obstructed view of the lake and while that was technically true, if you opened the shades what you mostly looked out on was a parking ramp. If you squinted hard you could see the lake. I should have taken a photo but there was this odd screen that took up about the bottom 18-24 inches of the window of a lovely meadow scene (I've never seen this before) and its clearly to try and distract from that crappy view). The hotel was expensive ($400 on a Sunday and Monday night) which felt weird for that kind of view in a non NYC (or similar) market.

Excellent location. Friendly and efficient staff. Room was a bit odd with the toilet and shower in separate “rooms” within the room. Otherwise it was fine, if unremarkable. Comfortable bed with a clean room is what you’re likely looking for as a traveler. That’s what you get with Hotel Vermont. Would recommend to others and would stay there again.

Exceptional

Free unlimited coffee, tea, hot chocolate, various types of milks and water on tap. Carbonated and still. Also fresh apples. Excellent location and parking.

The staff was excellent, and the complimentary communal beverage stations on each floor were a great touch, offering freshly ground coffee, tea, sparkling water, and still water. The hotel is located near a large construction project, and parts of the surrounding area feel somewhat depressed. That said, Church Street is only a short walk away and offers an eclectic mix of shops, restaurants, and colorful personalities—some charming, some a little alarming. For the waterfront, simply walk out the front entrance, turn left, and continue a short distance. It is a beautiful area with plenty to see and do. Overall, Hotel Vermont was a fantastic stay, and I would gladly return.

I loved the coffee, sparkling water. I loved the mugs in the rooms.

Breakfast was awesome and the staff was really wonderful. Room was very comfortable and well-appointed. Love the coffee and water in the hallway. Only downside was street noise overnight.

Beautiful property. Very clean. Good location

Everything was elegantly, Earthy. We loved it - except we could not seem to get the a/c or even the fan to blow in our room. It was very discouraging and unfortunately really affected our sleep. By the time we realized, we were too tired to call down to see if there was anything that we weren’t doing correctly with the control. As our room was directly above the street, we didn’t feel that we could sleep through the street noise - which wasn’t constant but could be loud occasionally. However, I could believe that it was only our room or an error on our part as everything else seemed so perfectly designed. The staff was lovely, and we feel awful that we left so much food in the fridge for housekeeping - both for our sakes and for their workload. We completely forgot in our morning daze.

Convenient and comfortable. The staff was exceptionally helpful!!!

Beautiful, with local art and products everywhere. The coffee & tea station on each floor was a wonderful touch. Our room was spacious and comfortable. Everything seemed designed to make our stay comfortable and easy. Helpful and kind staff, well-trained. The restaurant, Juniper, was absolutely delicious, with amazing staff.

Excellent location- easy walk to the lake and town center. Beautiful quirky rooms. Super friendly staff. Free cold water, seltzer, coffee and tea stations on every floor. Highly recommend.

There is a drink station on each floor so getting coffee and even sparkling water was super convenient. The towels and bedding was very soft and the staff couldn’t have been nicer. Our favorite hotel on our road trip hands down!
