Nice fresh feel and views were amazing Food not the best

Good

We were charged over $500 for last nights room. We booked a King ocean view room and got a tiny queen room with a parking lot view. The room was so small it didn’t have a nightstand on one side and we had to turn sideways to get by my suitcase. Worst room I’ve ever had in any Hilton branded hotel.

View was great (6th floor, so could see over the trees for wonderful lake view). Very convenient location, close to Lake Champlain. Really liked having a coffee station for the floor providing complimentary coffee/tea/hot chocolate, water and ice. Lily's breakfast (ML floor) had very nice buffet, good variety. Very walkable size downtown. Bed and pillows extremely hard and uncomfortable. Awkward large couch in front of the window faced away from the beautiful view, and made it hard to open/close the window shades. Lots of fruit flies around the coffee station for the floor and at Lily's breakfast area inside the pastries display. Mold on the ice chutes of the ice dispensers. Toilet paper for the room not refilled, had to ask for refill when ran out. Food at the dinner restaurant on site was poor quality, did not taste good. Gym too warm to use. Gym had nice variety of cardio machines, but would have liked to see some more strength machines. Food everywhere here and in town extremely expensive. Limited transportation options to get to other places of interest not located in town (Ben & Jerry's Factory Tour, Cold Hollow Cider Mill..).

Everything was fine. Checking in was easy

The service as far as needing something was not the best. I took a shower and realized they offer soap in a container on the wall but it was empty. Called to ask for some they never brought it. Day before checkout we found tv not connected to internet, called down someone came up but they couldn’t fix it offered us a new room but we were checking out next morning so we decided not to move. The last issue was cleaning service knocked on our door two different days to come in to clean. We happened to be in the room. As I moved to answer the door, she already used her key and beat me to the door. They should not use the key so quick, it takes a few seconds to get to the door to open it. She looked at me surprised and shocked that I didn’t come to the door quick enough. I think she waited 2-3 seconds before entering.

Modern hotel within walking distance of everything you want to do. Easy check-in, parking and comfy accommodations.

The staff and food at the hotel were sub par.

The coffee machines on each floor are such a nice touch and the coffee is tasty! The rooms are clean, and astetically pleasing. The artwork in the rooms are eye catching with the local lake champlain vibe. This was our second time staying at Hotel Champlain in the last couple years and will return the next time we're in town.

The amenities are great. Plenty of food and drink options. Every member of staff was helpful and courteous.

My only critique for the decor or rather the ambiance would be the lighting in common areas was too bright! I so wanted to locate the dimmer switch. Other than that the hotel layout was well thought out and the location was excellent! We look forward to our next stay!

Superb

The location We booked a room over looking Lake Champlain. That was the whole reason we chose your hotel. When we arrived we were told all lake view room were not available. Instead we were assigned to a room which over looked the roof and a parking garage, called it a city view. Our room was located beside a huge ac vent as well so that constant noise throughout the night was just a bonus annoyance.
