Comfort Inn & Suites Burnet

Handicap parking was not as close as the “Choice hotel members” was. Needs to be switched. Staff very friendly. Room nice

Nice large room, the staff was friendly and recommended a great restaurant for dinner. The breakfast buffet was well stocked. Plenty of parking.

Clean room. Parking was not a problem. Breakfast was breakfast as expected. Staff were helpful and friendly.

Clean room with no issues. Only issue I had was not being able to get receipt for the stay.

This hotel is awful, do not stay here. Broken electrical outlets, nobody refilled the shampoo bottle in the shower, I reserved a specific type of room a month ahead of time and then they had given my room away to somebody else before I got there and didn't even apologize. That was the second time I stayed at this property, but I won't go back there ever again and I don't recommend it at all. Shameful. Also there were people at the pool very late and they were talking loudly.

Very nice clean room, parking was very good as well.

The gentleman at check-in was rude and not very welcoming. He did not explain the hotel's amenities and was not helpful when I asked about changing my room, even though I offered to pay for an upgrade. In contrast, the lady at the reception was friendly and professional, and the breakfast team was warm, attentive, and provided excellent service.

The bathroom floor was sticky making me think it had not been mopped recently. Black mold surrounded the grout in the shower. The hallway carpets throughout were filthy. Heavy, dark dirty stains were present; worst in front of the elevator.

The hotel was very clean and updated. Staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel is very convenient to the main highway which made it easy to visit all the locations that we wanted to.

A great hotel! A bunch of us were there for a race and had to get up early. Breakfast was out there before the usual time so we could grab something to go. It was a very thoughtful thing to do.

Everything was good till the last day//night when animal dropping were in my room. We let the staff know .

Property Manager canceled my reservation 2 hours before checkin. Of course my credit card was already charged for full stay on June 19th. This has happened to me before using Expedia. Hotels dont recognize Expedia’s confirmation numbers. I will not use Expedia in the future because of this problem. I am a general contractor in the local area and I sometimes have to bring subcontractors in to work on my projects. Comfort Inn in Burnet Texas will never get any of my business. I am also filing a complaint with Burnet and Marble Falls Chamber of Commerce. I am also filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. Total Scam!!!!

Staff was helpful . The remote was missing for TV in the room , after a few tries got one from the front desk that worked. Breakfast could use a little more variety , don't run out of butter when you have waffles , toast and bagels .

The breakfast was good. I had the eggs. I enjoyed the fresh lemon water in the lobby. I was glad to get a room on such short notice. The room was very spacious! It was a a bit pricey but I had no choice.

Location was great. Breakfast was nice and warm. Overall good experience. Front desk service could have been a bit better.

Exceptional

Booked room thru Expedia for last night. Note , I stayed at this same hotel this last Wednesday using the same payment method. Anyway I used Apple Pay on Expedia to pay for room. Arrived at Hotel and desk clerk said I see room is paid for thru 3rd party and asked for credit card for incidentals. I provided my Bank of America credit card with plenty available funds but was told it was declined and I could not be checked in. I have several other cards and offered them but clearly laughed at me and said he could not check me in. I have been a professional traveler for 31 years and have never experienced this level of customer service. Literally had to drive to another town to get booked in a room and completely missed the start and half the event I was scheduled to attend . After contacting my bank it was brought to my attention that he never even ran my Bank of America card. The clerk was just being rude for some unknown reason. I will never forget Comfort Inn for this.

Booked hotel room last night the same way I did last Wednesday, using same payment method Apple Pay. Upon arrival the desk clerk said room was paid for but needed a card for incidentals. I provided my Bank of America credit card with 50k available balance and the clerked appears to run the card but immediately said card is declined and sorry I can’t check you in. I immediately offered other cards and stated that my bank may have flagged the charge as fraud since I live in Virginia and this was in. Burnet Texas. Clerk basically smiled and laughed at me pushing my cards back across the counter and said he is not checking me in. After leaving and calling my bank. It turns out he never ran my card and was just lying. If you like rude desk clerks who don’t know their job or customer service you can stay here. Comfort in will only get a bad review once a week from me until I die. I have tried to contact manger or someone who will listen but so far know one has contacted me at all. I will be taking this up to corporate as far as I can go. I had to literally drive to another town to get another hotel which made me completely miss the event that I was here to attend. I will never forget this.
