The Anza - A Calabasas Hotel

The suite was extremely comfortable and perfect for a big family, the beds in the rooms and sofa beds were comfortable and all rooms had their own ac to have preferences for each area. The showers were nice and clean. The only downside was the parking is not free, room service is by request only and the breakfast is not included. But overall we would stay here again the stay was very comfortable and we were able to sign into Netflix streaming.

I had a first level room by the freeway and the car noise was not an issue at all. Comfortable bed and real clean pool. Walking distance to good food

Friendly staff made this a great stay

I had a fantastic stay at The Anza Hotel! From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel genuinely welcome with their friendly, professional service. The hotel is beautifully maintained, and my room was spotless, spacious, and incredibly comfortable. The beds were perfect for a great night’s sleep, and I appreciated the modern amenities and thoughtful touches throughout the property. The pool and fitness center were excellent, and the overall atmosphere was peaceful and relaxing. The location is also ideal—close to great restaurants, shopping, and easy access to the surrounding area. What really made this stay exceptional was the outstanding customer service. Alek and every staff member I encountered went above and beyond to make sure I had everything I needed. I highly recommend The Anza Hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable, stylish, and welcoming place to stay. Hope to return for another stay.

-The room was nice and large and the bed comfortable. -The bathroom needed some tender loving care... -The sink drained very slowly. -No shower wash in the shower.

We had a good stay. We enjoyed the location, friendly staff and pool.. I would highly recommend if you are in the area.

The room was extremely spacious, clean and comfortable. I brought my 50lb dog and other than the freeway cars zooming by i thought overall worth the price.

Hotel clean. Rooms spacious. Staff friendly. Convenient location. Good food nearby. Highway noise present but not a problem with white noise machine. Lots of cozy common sitting areas. Great experience.

Spacious room. Comfortable bed. The only problem was the noise from rooms above and next door. Along with the ice maker in the hallway at all hours.

The room was huge with many useful pieces of furniture. Coffee maker didn’t work, cold water sink faucet could barely be turned, bed was ok but not the most comfortable, without carpeting i heard the people in room above walking around in shoes after 11 and worst of all - we weren’t told that a standard room faces the freeway. Hotel is so close that traffic noise was awful and kept me awake. I’ve been in plenty of hotels with soundproof windows.

However, the room itself was a bit dingy — furniture stained, mold stains in the shower… pretty grim. For one night, I was fine but I wouldn’t recommend beyond that.

Felt honestly a little worse than a motel 6, it smelled like urine, it felt extremely old and run down. I loved the room sizes but it felt very crazy in the room, no shower door so the floors were soaked, the shower pressure was very strong and it honestly hurt. The parking was horrendous. Just expected a lot more for a hotel like that in calabasas. The area was lovely and the staff were amazing, the hotel itself just needs a serious renovation. We could hear every single footstep, everytime someone’s door shut it sounded like a shotgun and I’m not exaggerating, even when I knew it was the door it would still startle me and I’d go make sure because of how much it sounded like a gunshot. Someone dropped something on the floor in the room above us and it was so loud. The freeway was also very loud, it wasn’t very easy to sleep/stay asleep. I hate leaving bad reviews but I wish I had read a review like this so I wouldn’t have stayed there, I was bummed to spend so much and there’s not even free breakfast or anything and they had one man working the restaurant in there ($11 per breakfast sandwich).. we would have loved to swim in the pool but it wasn’t a very nice pool either unfortunately 😔 so we didn’t swim at all, usually we use the gym but it was so small we didn’t use that either. I’m sorry to be a downer, I had higher hopes for this one. It was right next to a Trader Joe’s so that was probably the only positive part..

Our room was clean, quiet and comfortable. Guest laundry facilities were appreciated. Elevator was creaky and old, but it got us where we needed to go. There is a dirt area near the hotel to take dogs to go to the bathroom, but we found a strip of grass down the block and across the street for our dog. Our car was deliberately damaged in the covered parking garage, but nothing the hotel can do about that. Staff was friendly and helpful. We had a nice stay at the Anza.

Super cute hotel with really comfortable beds and pillows. This is a great place to stay at an affordable rate when I come to the la area. Absolutely love the shower and its rain on you shower head that packs a punch. The water pressure is Absolutely perfect. Id come stay here just for that!

Location good Not clean

I had a great room with a lot of space. I enjoyed the local restaurants and community. The staff was helpful and friendly! I would highly recommend to friends and family.

Loved the room, lovely staff and great location to old town Calabassas. We brought our 1 year old chihuahua and found that this hotel had the most affordable pet fee. We will be back!
