We enjoyed our stay, I wish we had had more time than one night there. Adorable place and we really enjoyed our stay. Highly recommended!

Staff also gave us useful guidance via text since we were late check ins 😎

Overall it was ok stay. You can tell its an older place and some renovations have occurred but still older. Staff were pleasant enough. Pool and hot were closed and had been since last October! This was NOT indicated on their website on Hotels.com. so really disappointed with that. Toilet leaked a bit. Bathroom door was dirty so requested staff to in and clean it. It just seemed to be at a lower end of the scale for overall place to dtay. Probably will not stay there again. Just my preference.

Bathrooms need remodeling. Bathroom doors don’t lock.

We recently stayed at The Sea Otter Inn and we had an amazing week, so much so that we extended our stay on additional day. The room was perfect with a view of the ocean and we spent the evenings sitting outside our room enjoying the view. The staff was great and very accomodating. We're already planning our next stay. Highly recommend!

Location Due to an emergency we could only stay 2 nights rather than 3 Booking.com communicated to us if Sea Otter management agreed to charge us for 2 nights rather than 3, it was ok with Booking.com The district manager, Wendy, told us it was ok with her. She eventually called us back after we left and informed us “the System would not allow her to refund one night’s stay. “ Unbelievable! We are working with American Express to correct this issue

Great location right across from beach.

Room was a good size for three of us. Updated and well maintained. The views were very good with the ocean across the street. Walking distance to several restaurants was ideal. The pool and hot tub were closed and we were very disappointed in that. The breakfast picnic basket was a cute concept and the brekkie ordered was good.

A beautiful place to stay. Really good breakfast basket in the morning and easy access to the beach across the street. Everyone working here is super nice.

Room was fine. However, a 10 year old is not considered a child and I needed to pay an extra $20??? Also, no heads up that the pool was not open/working and had to travel 10 min away to use the sister hotel - pretty deceptive.

Location to the beach. Bathroom was small. Bathroom sliding door difficult to close/open. Coffee items/microwave should not be inside a closet.

  • Engine customer Aug 2026

That the pool was closed, but they had a good reason. And that’s OK. They let us use another pool at another hotel and I was very kind of them.

Great location. Well appointed rooms, fresh cookies, out door fires, friendly staff.

On one hand, the location is perfect and the room itself was reasonably sized and clean, save for a pretty thoroughly trafficked rug between the beds. The front desk staff was also consistently friendly and upbeat. On the other hand, it’s pretty deceptive to advertise both a pool and a hot tub then keep both off limits in the middle of summer. Especially when your room rate is on the higher end of the spectrum. Sure the sister property granted pool access, but being several miles away, that made for an impractical option. The room phone didn’t work at all and no one came around to even try to get it back up and running. This would have been less of an issue if cell service on the property wasn’t totally jammed, leaving you having to go out to the street to make or receive a call. The beds were very comfortable but since the blackout curtains were literally mounted below window level and the blinds on the other end were knotted and didn’t close all the way, it was pretty tough to sleep. Also, with 3-4 parking spaces converted to charging stations, the ratio of parking spaces to patrons is a little tight, and if any of the guests parked on or over the lines, things got a really tight. All in all a pleasant trip, but despite its potential this property has room for improvement.

Breakfast basket delivery was great directly to your to room.

Location and room were amazing. Check in process after 9pm was a disaster. You check in a sister lodge but they didnt know incidental fees and wanted to charge me a much larger amount. Asked for my card info to be written on a post it. It was just messy and unprofessional. I wasn't advised of any amenities or the wifi code upon check in. This place was super cute just wish it was a better experience.

Pool was out of order, maid wanted a tip, we never saw her or asked anything of her, went to the office and picked up our towels. not great,

The room itself was nice, clean and comfortable. Back patio needs a little more privacy from parking lot and 2nd story rooms adjacent.

  • Engine customer Jul 2026

Good location for our purpose. The property was clean and well-kept. The pool was closed. They offered the sister property but we didnt want to walk to or hassle with going to another pool.

הבריכה היתה סגורה. נאמר לנו שנקבל החזר של 50$ אבל כשהגשנו בקשה דרך בוקינג המלון לא אישר וקיבלנו רק חלקית.
